1. Product Overview
The Keurig K-Express Single Serve Coffee Maker is designed for convenience and quality, offering a rich, full-flavored coffee experience. This compact brewer features a sleek design and provides multiple brew size options, along with a STRONG button for a more intense taste. Its 42oz removable water reservoir allows for brewing multiple cups without frequent refilling.

3. Setup Guide
- Unpack and Place: Remove all packaging materials. Place the brewer on a stable, level surface.
- Rinse Reservoir: Remove the 42oz removable water reservoir. Rinse it with fresh water.
- Fill Reservoir: Fill the reservoir with fresh water up to the MAX fill line. Place it back onto the brewer.
- Plug In: Plug the brewer into a grounded outlet. The power button will illuminate.
- First Brew (Cleansing Brew):
- Place a large mug (at least 10 oz) on the drip tray.
- Do not insert a K-Cup pod.
- Lift and lower the handle.
- Press the 8 oz brew button. The brew button will flash while brewing and then become solid.
- Discard the hot water. The brewer is now ready for use.

4. Operating Instructions
Brewing Coffee:
- Place Mug: Place a mug on the drip tray. If using a travel mug, remove the drip tray first.
- Insert K-Cup Pod: Lift the handle and place a K-Cup pod in the K-Cup pod holder. Lower the handle completely to close the lid.
- Select Brew Size: Choose your desired brew size (8 oz, 10 oz, or 12 oz) by pressing the corresponding button.
- Use STRONG Button (Optional): For a bolder cup, press the STRONG button before selecting your brew size. The STRONG button will illuminate.
- Brew: The selected brew size button will flash while brewing. Once brewing is complete, the button will become solid.
- Remove Pod: Lift the handle and carefully remove the hot K-Cup pod. Dispose of the used pod.

5. Care and Maintenance
Cleaning:
- External Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the brewer with a damp, soapy cloth. Rinse thoroughly.
- Drip Tray: The drip tray can accumulate spills. Remove it and wash with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
- K-Cup Pod Holder: The K-Cup pod holder can be removed for cleaning. Wash with warm, soapy water and rinse. Ensure the exit needle is clear of any coffee grounds.
- Water Reservoir: The water reservoir should be cleaned regularly with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly before refilling.
Descaling:
Mineral deposits can build up in your coffee maker over time, affecting performance and taste. Descaling should be performed every 3 months or as needed, depending on water hardness.
- Prepare Solution: Turn off the brewer. Empty the water reservoir. Pour an entire bottle of Keurig Descaling Solution into the reservoir, then fill the empty bottle with water and pour it into the reservoir.
- First Descale Brew: Place a large mug on the drip tray. Lift and lower the handle. Press the 12 oz brew button. Discard the hot water. Repeat this process until the "Add Water" light illuminates.
- Rinse Cycle: Rinse the water reservoir thoroughly. Fill it with fresh water up to the MAX fill line. Place a large mug on the drip tray. Lift and lower the handle. Press the 12 oz brew button. Discard the hot water. Repeat this rinse brew process at least 12 times, refilling the reservoir with fresh water as needed, to ensure all descaling solution is flushed out.

6. Troubleshooting
