2. Safety Information

3. Setup

3.1 Physical Installation

The GAD101 displayer can be wall-mounted, tablet-mounted, or shelf-mounted using the included FIX014 bracket.

  1. Choose a Location: Select a suitable location for your displayer, considering visibility, power access, and environmental conditions.
  2. Attach Mounting Bracket: Secure the FIX014 mounting bracket to the desired surface (wall, shelf, or table) using appropriate hardware (not included). Ensure it is stable and level.
  3. Mount the Displayer: Align the VESA mounting holes on the back of the GAD101 with the bracket and secure it using screws.

3.2 Connecting Power

  1. Locate the AC power input port on the back of the displayer.
  2. Connect the provided AC power adapter to the displayer.
  3. Plug the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet. The device will automatically power on.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

The GAD101 is designed for auto-start functionality. Once connected to power, it will automatically turn on and begin playing content.

  • Power On: Connect the AC power adapter. The device will power on automatically.
  • Power Off: Disconnect the AC power adapter from the device or the wall outlet.

4.2 Content Playback (SD Card)

The displayer plays content directly from an inserted SD card. Ensure your content is properly formatted and placed in the root directory of the SD card.

  1. Prepare your media files (images, videos) on an SD card.
  2. Locate the SD card slot on the back of the displayer.
  3. Insert the SD card into the slot until it clicks into place.
  4. The displayer will automatically detect the SD card and begin looping the content.

4.3 Updating Content (USB Stick)

Content on the SD card can be updated automatically using a USB stick. A password may be required for this operation if enabled.

  1. Prepare your new media files on a USB stick.
  2. Insert the USB stick into the USB port on the back of the displayer.
  3. The displayer will detect the USB stick and automatically transfer the new content to the SD card, overwriting existing files if configured to do so.
  4. Once the update is complete, remove the USB stick. The displayer will then play the updated content.

4.4 Motion Sensor Functionality

The GAD101 features a motion sensor that can activate the display when a person passes by, conserving power and enhancing engagement.

  • When motion is detected within the sensor's range, the display will activate and begin playing content.
  • After a period of no detected motion, the display may enter a low-power state or turn off, depending on settings.

4.5 Using the Remote Control

The included remote control allows for basic navigation and settings adjustments. Refer to the remote control's specific instructions for detailed button functions.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning the Displayer

  • Ensure the device is powered off and unplugged before cleaning.
  • Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the screen and exterior surfaces.
  • For stubborn marks, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen-safe cleaning solution. Do not spray liquids directly onto the device.
  • Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or alcohol-based solutions, as these can damage the finish.

5.2 Storage

If storing the device for an extended period, ensure it is clean, dry, and stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. It is recommended to use the original packaging for protection.
