Setup

1. Charging the Glasses

Before first use, fully charge your smart glasses. The device uses a magnetic charging interface.

  • Connect the magnetic charging cable to the charging interface located on the inside of the right temple.
  • Connect the USB end of the cable to a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter).
  • The red indicator light will be continuously on during charging.
  • Once fully charged, the blue light will illuminate for a few seconds and then turn off.
  • A full charge typically takes 1-2 hours for the first use, and 80-90 minutes for subsequent charges, providing approximately 5-6 hours of music playback.

2. Bluetooth Pairing

To connect your smart glasses to a device (e.g., smartphone, tablet):

  • Ensure the glasses are charged and powered off.
  • Press and hold the touch area on the right temple for 3 seconds to power on the glasses.
  • The red and blue indicator lights will flash alternately, indicating pairing mode.
  • On your smart device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  • Select "CHKYGlasses2" (or similar name) from the list to connect.
  • Once successfully paired, the indicator light on the glasses will turn off.

1. Power On/Off

  • Power On: Long press the touch area of the right temple for 3 seconds.
  • Power Off: Long press the touch area of the right temple for 3 seconds.

2. Music Playback

  • Play/Pause: Double-click the touch area of the right temple.
  • Next Song: Triple-click the touch area of the right temple.
  • Volume Adjustment: Adjust the volume directly from your connected smart device.

3. Call Management

  • Answer Call: Double-click the touch key.
  • Hang Up Call: Double-click the touch button during a call.

4. Voice Assistant

Easily activate your device's voice assistant (Siri, Cortana, Google Now) to control music, get directions, weather updates, and more. Refer to your device's instructions for voice assistant activation.

Lens Replacement

The CatXQ Smart Glasses support lens replacement, allowing you to customize them with prescription, myopia, anti-blue light, or polarized lenses.

  • Carefully remove the existing lenses by gently pushing them out from the frame.
  • Align the new lenses with the frame grooves and press them firmly into place until they click.
  • It is recommended to have a professional optician assist with prescription lens installation.

Maintenance and Care

  • Cleaning: Use the provided cleaning cloth to wipe the lenses and frame. For stubborn smudges, use a lens cleaning solution designed for eyewear. Avoid harsh chemicals.
  • Water Resistance: The glasses are IPX5 waterproof, meaning they can resist a sustained, low-pressure water jet spray. They are suitable for use in light rain or during workouts where sweating occurs. Do not submerge the glasses in water or expose them to high-pressure water.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the glasses in the provided storage case to protect them from scratches and damage.
  • Battery Care: Avoid extreme temperatures. Do not leave the glasses in direct sunlight or very cold environments for extended periods. Charge the battery regularly, even if not in frequent use, to maintain battery health.
  • Handling: Handle the glasses with care. Avoid excessive force when folding or unfolding the temples to prevent damage.

Troubleshooting
