3. Setup and Installation
Professional installation is highly recommended for this product. Incorrect installation can lead to damage to the unit or your vehicle's electrical system. Always disconnect the vehicle's battery before beginning installation.
3.1 Compatibility Check
Ensure your vehicle's dashboard configuration matches the compatible models. The unit is designed to integrate seamlessly into the Mercedes Benz SL R230 dashboard from 2005-2012.

3.2 Wiring Connections
Connect the provided power harness, RCA cables, CAM cable, and USB cables to the corresponding ports on the head unit and your vehicle's wiring system. Pay close attention to the fiber optic decoder connection if your vehicle has a BOSE or Harman Kardon sound system. The new power wire is designed for plug-and-play functionality with original steering wheel controls and premium sound systems.

3.3 Rear Camera Installation
If installing a rear camera, connect the CAM cable to the head unit's rear camera input. Ensure the camera is mounted securely and wired correctly to receive power and transmit video signals. The system automatically switches to the reverse screen when the car is in reverse gear.

3.4 Final Installation
Once all connections are made, carefully secure the head unit into the dashboard. Reconnect the vehicle's battery and test all functions.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Basic Navigation
The unit features a responsive touchscreen. Swipe left or right to navigate between home screens. Tap on app icons to launch applications. Use the back button (usually a triangle icon) or the home button (house icon) on the side panel or on-screen to return to previous screens or the main menu.
5.2 Bluetooth Pairing
- Go to the 'Bluetooth' application on the head unit.
- Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device and make it discoverable.
- On the head unit, search for available devices.
- Select your mobile device from the list and confirm the pairing code.
- Once paired, you can make hands-free calls and stream audio.
5.3 Carplay / Android Auto
Connect your iPhone or Android phone via USB or Bluetooth as prompted by the 'Carplay' or 'Zlink' application. Follow the on-screen instructions to enable the respective feature. This allows you to access compatible phone apps directly on the head unit's display.
5.4 GPS Navigation
