5. Setup and Installation

Follow these general steps for replacing an ignition coil. Always refer to your engine's specific service manual for detailed instructions and safety procedures.

  1. Prepare for Installation:
    • Ensure the engine is cool and turned off.
    • Disconnect the spark plug wire from the spark plug.
    • If applicable, disconnect the engine's battery.
