- General Caution: No specific safety warnings are provided beyond general toy safety guidelines. Always use the product as intended and inspect for damage before each use.
3. Package Contents
Please verify that all components listed below are present in your kit before beginning assembly.
- Components for a motorized fire truck
- Components for 4 additional mechanical models
- Illustrated assembly manual
- Access to a companion application for assembly guidance
- Note: 4 AA batteries are required for motorized functions and are not included in the package.
4. Assembly Instructions
The Clementoni Science & Play Build Fire Truck is a construction kit requiring assembly. Follow the detailed, step-by-step instructions provided in the included illustrated manual. For an interactive experience, a dedicated application is also available to guide you through the construction process for both the main fire truck and the four alternative models.
During assembly, pay close attention to the orientation of parts and the secure fitting of connectors. The kit is designed for precision, and correct assembly ensures proper functionality of the mechanical components and the motor.

Figure 4.1: Assembled Clementoni Science & Play Build Fire Truck. This image shows the completed fire truck model with its extendable ladder.
The fire truck's ladder can be manually raised and lowered. The integrated motor, once connected, will activate the 360° rotation of the ladder and provide traction to the wheels, allowing the truck to move.

5. Operating Instructions
After successful assembly and battery installation, the fire truck is ready for operation.
- Battery Installation: Open the battery compartment and insert 4 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the compartment securely.
- Power On: Locate the power switch on the battery box or motor unit. Slide the switch to the 'ON' position to activate the motor.
- Motorized Movement: The motor will provide power to the wheels for forward movement and to the mechanism that rotates the fire truck's ladder 360 degrees.
- Manual Ladder Control: The fire truck's ladder can also be manually raised, lowered, and extended independently of the motor.
Experiment with the different functions to understand the mechanical principles at play.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the product with a dry, soft cloth to remove dust and dirt. Do not use water or cleaning solutions, as this may damage electronic components.
- Battery Replacement: Replace all 4 AA batteries when the motorized functions become weak or stop working. Always replace with new batteries of the same type.
- Storage: Store the kit in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.
- Component Check: Periodically check all assembled components to ensure they are securely connected and not damaged.
