Important Safety Information

Setup and Initial Use

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove the humidifier from its packaging. Retain packaging for storage or future shipping.
  2. Placement: Place the humidifier on a firm, flat, water-resistant surface at least 6 inches (15 cm) away from walls and appliances. Ensure it is not placed on carpet or near heat sources.
  3. Fill Water Tank:
    • Remove the water tank from the base.
    • Unscrew the tank cap at the bottom of the tank.
    • Fill the tank with clean, cool tap water. Distilled or demineralized water is recommended to prevent mineral deposits.
    • Securely screw the tank cap back on.
    • Place the filled water tank back onto the humidifier base, ensuring it is seated correctly.
  4. Connect Power: Plug the 2-prong power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet. The unit will emit a beep, and the LCD display will briefly illuminate.

Operating Instructions

Your humidifier can be operated using the touch panel controls on the unit or the included remote control.

  • ON/OFF Button (): Press to turn the humidifier on or off. The LCD display will show current humidity and mist level.
  • -ION Button (): Activates or deactivates the negative ion function, which helps purify the air.
  • MAX/MIN Button (): Adjusts the mist output level. There are 3 mist speeds (Low, Medium, High). Press repeatedly to cycle through settings.
  • HUMIDITY Button (💧): Sets the desired humidity level. The humidifier will automatically maintain the set humidity between 45% RH and 90% RH.
  • TIMER Button (): Sets the auto shut-off timer for 1 to 12 hours. The unit will turn off automatically after the set time.

The humidifier features dual mist outlets on top. You can manually rotate these outlets to direct the mist in desired directions.

Care and Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure optimal performance and extend the life of your humidifier.

Daily Maintenance:

  • Unplug the unit.
  • Empty any remaining water from the tank and base.
  • Rinse the water tank and base with fresh water.
  • Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembly or storage.

Weekly Maintenance (Mineral Deposit Removal):

  • Unplug the unit.
  • Remove the water tank.
  • Pour 2-4 tablespoons of white vinegar into the water tank and into the water reservoir in the base.
  • Let it stand for 20 minutes.
  • Carefully clean the transducer (the small disc in the base) and the inside of the tank with a soft brush or cloth to remove mineral deposits.
  • Rinse all components thoroughly with clean water until the smell of vinegar is gone.
  • Allow all parts to air dry completely.

Filter Maintenance:

The ceramic infused filter helps reduce mineral buildup. Clean the filter regularly by rinsing it under cool tap water. Replace the filter as needed, typically every 6 months, depending on water hardness and usage.
