Setup

1. Snare Drum and Stand Assembly:

Unfold the snare drum stand by extending its legs until they are stable. Place the snare drum securely onto the stand's basket. Adjust the height of the stand using the knob on the central pole to a comfortable playing position. The snare drum can also be tilted and angled as needed using the adjustment mechanism on the stand.

2. Bell Set Assembly:

The bell set (xylophone) typically comes pre-assembled. If a separate stand is provided, unfold it and place the bell set on top, ensuring it is stable. Adjust the height for comfortable playing.

3. Practice Pad:

The 8-inch practice pad can be used independently for quiet practice or placed on a flat surface. It is designed to provide a realistic rebound for developing drumming techniques without excessive volume.

4. Rolling Soft-shell Case:

The kit includes a rolling soft-shell case for transport. Extend the luggage-style handle for rolling. For carrying, utilize the two backpack straps located on the back of the case. Ensure all components are securely placed within their designated compartments inside the case before transport.

Operating Instructions

1. Playing the Snare Drum:

• Basic Stroke: Hold the drumsticks comfortably. Strike the center of the drumhead for a full, resonant sound.
• Rimshot: Simultaneously strike the rim and the drumhead with one stick for a sharp, accented sound.
• Snare Adjustment: The snare wires underneath the drum can be tightened or loosened using the lever or knob on the side of the drum. Adjust for desired crispness or looseness of the snare sound.

2. Playing the Bells (Xylophone):

• Mallet Technique: Use the provided mallets to strike the center of each bell bar.
• Note Identification: The bells are arranged chromatically. Familiarize yourself with the note labels on each bar to play melodies and scales.

3. Using the Practice Pad:

The practice pad is ideal for developing stick control, rhythm, and rudiments without producing loud sounds. It provides a quiet alternative for practice sessions.

Troubleshooting

1. Poor Snare Drum Sound:

• Dull Sound: Check if the snare wires are too loose. Adjust the snare tension knob to tighten them.
• Buzzing Sound: Ensure all lugs on the drumhead are evenly tightened. Also, check if the snare wires are too tight or if any foreign objects are touching the snare wires.

2. Unstable Stand:
