2. Important Safety Instructions

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, serious injury, or property damage, basic safety precautions should always be followed.

  • Read all instructions before operating the appliance.
  • Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
  • To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cords, plugs, or the heating element assembly in water or other liquids.

  • Ensure the oil level is always between the MIN and MAX lines indicated in the oil tank. Overfilling or underfilling can be hazardous.
  • Always ensure the appliance is placed on a stable, heat-resistant surface.

4. Setup Instructions

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect for any damage.
  2. Cleaning: Before first use, wash the oil tanks, baskets, residue plates, and lids with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. The heating element assembly should only be wiped clean with a damp cloth.
  3. Assembly:
    • Place the main fryer body on a stable, heat-resistant, and level surface. Ensure adequate clearance from walls and other appliances for ventilation.
    • Insert the residue plates into the bottom of each oil tank.
    • Place the clean oil tanks into the fryer body.
    • Attach the detachable heating element heads onto the back of the fryer body, ensuring they are securely seated.
    • Assemble the basket handles to the frying baskets if they are not pre-attached.
  4. Electrical Connection: Ensure your electrical outlet matches the voltage and wattage requirements of the fryer (3400W). Plug each power cord into a dedicated, grounded electrical outlet. Avoid using extension cords if possible; if necessary, use a heavy-duty, grounded extension cord rated for the fryer's wattage.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Filling with Oil

  1. Ensure the fryer is unplugged and cool.
  2. Pour cooking oil into each tank. Fill between the 'MIN' and 'MAX' indicator lines. Do not overfill or underfill.
  3. For best results, use high-quality cooking oil with a high smoke point suitable for deep frying.

5.2 Setting Temperature and Preheating

  1. Plug the fryer into the electrical outlets. The 'Power' indicator light will illuminate.
  2. Turn the temperature control knob for each tank to the desired frying temperature (range: 60°C - 200°C / 140°F - 392°F).
  3. The 'Heat' indicator light will turn on, indicating that the oil is heating. It will turn off once the set temperature is reached.

5.3 Frying Food

  1. Ensure food is dry before frying to prevent excessive splashing and to achieve crispier results.
  2. Place food into the frying basket. Do not overload the basket, as this can lower oil temperature and result in soggy food.
  3. Slowly lower the basket into the hot oil.
  4. Fry for the recommended time or until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Carefully lift the basket and hook it onto the side of the fryer to allow excess oil to drain.
  6. Remove food from the basket and place it on paper towels to absorb any remaining oil.

5.4 After Frying

  1. Turn the temperature control knobs to the 'OFF' position.
  2. Unplug the fryer from the electrical outlets.
  3. Allow the oil to cool completely before handling or cleaning. This may take several hours.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your deep fryer and ensure optimal performance.

6.1 Daily Cleaning

  1. Ensure the fryer is unplugged and the oil is completely cool.
  2. Carefully remove the oil tanks.
  3. Filter the oil if it is still good for reuse, or dispose of it properly.
