Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for proper installation. It is recommended to have a second person assist during installation.
- Turn off Power: Before starting, ensure the power supply to the installation area is completely off at the circuit breaker.
- Mounting Plate Installation: Attach the mounting plate to the junction box in your ceiling using the provided screws.
- Assemble Rods: Determine the desired hanging height. The fixture includes multiple 9.8" rods that can be combined to achieve heights from 21" to 50.6". Thread the electrical wires through the chosen rods and connect them to the linear bar and canopy.
- Wiring: Connect the fixture's wires to your household electrical wires. Typically, black to black (live), white to white (neutral), and bare copper or green to green (ground). Secure connections with wire nuts.
- Canopy Attachment: Secure the canopy to the mounting plate, ensuring all wires are tucked neatly inside the junction box.
- Install Glass Shades and Bulbs: Carefully attach the clear glass shades to the light sockets. Insert E26 base bulbs (not included) into each socket.
This fixture is designed for versatility and can be installed on both flat and sloped ceilings. The pivot point at the canopy allows for adjustment to match your ceiling angle.
