Compatibility Notice
Important: This add-on camera is exclusively compatible with Moonybaby QuadView 30 and QuadView 40 handheld monitors. To ensure compatibility, verify that your existing handheld monitor's serial number (S/N) begins with "12". An example S/N format is "S/N:12xxxxxxxxxxxx". Attempting to pair this camera with an incompatible monitor may result in failure to connect or improper functionality.

To add the new camera to your existing Moonybaby QuadView system, follow these steps:
- Ensure your handheld monitor is turned on and within range of the new camera.
- Access the monitor's menu and navigate to the "Add Camera" option. Refer to your monitor's specific user manual for detailed menu navigation.
- Once "Add Camera" is selected, the monitor will begin searching for a new camera.
- On the add-on camera, locate the "Pairing" button (often a small button on the back or side). Press and hold this button until the monitor successfully detects and pairs with the camera. A confirmation message or sound will typically indicate successful pairing.

3. Camera Placement and Mounting
The camera features a universal joint design for flexible positioning. It can be placed on a tabletop or mounted on a wall. Ensure the camera is positioned to provide an optimal view of the desired area, such as a baby's crib.
- Tabletop Placement: Place the camera on a flat, stable surface at a safe distance from the child.
- Wall Mounting: Use the included mounting screws to secure the camera to a wall. Alternatively, specialized Moonybaby camera mounts (sold separately) can be used for crib mounting without tools or wall damage.
Operating Instructions
1. Viewing Multiple Cameras
Your Moonybaby QuadView monitor, when paired with multiple cameras, offers several viewing modes:
- Quad View Mode: The monitor screen can display video feeds from up to four cameras simultaneously, divided into four quadrants. This allows for continuous monitoring of multiple rooms or angles.
- Auto Scan Feature: In this mode, the monitor automatically cycles through each paired camera, displaying its feed for approximately 10 seconds before switching to the next camera. This is useful for monitoring different areas sequentially.

Figure 6: Monitor displaying quad view mode. This image shows a monitor screen split into four sections, each displaying a live feed from a different camera, illustrating the quad view capability.
2. Digital Zoom Functionality
The camera supports digital zoom, allowing you to magnify the image on your monitor for a closer look at your child. Consult your monitor's manual for specific instructions on how to activate and control the digital zoom feature (e.g., 2X or 4X zoom).

Figure 7: Comparison of different zoom levels. This image demonstrates the visual difference between standard view, wide-angle, 2X digital zoom, and 4X digital zoom, showcasing the camera's ability to capture details.
3. Auto Noise Reduction
The Moonybaby add-on camera is equipped with an auto noise reduction feature. This technology significantly minimizes ambient background noise from the baby's room, such as sounds from fans, air purifiers, air conditioners, or heaters. This ensures that you primarily hear your baby's sounds when they require attention, reducing unnecessary distractions.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera lens and body. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Power Supply: Always use the original power adapter provided with the camera.
- Storage: If storing the camera for an extended period, disconnect it from power and store it in a cool, dry place.
