2. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to properly set up your radar detector for optimal performance.

2.1. Placement

For best detection, place the radar detector on your vehicle's dashboard, ensuring a clear, unobstructed view of the road ahead and behind. The included anti-slip pad can be used to secure the device.

Ensure the device is level and stable.
Avoid placing it behind metallic objects or tinted areas of the windshield that might block signals.

2.2. Power Connection

Connect the provided 12V DC charging cable to the Mini USB port on the radar detector and plug the other end into your vehicle's 12V power outlet (cigarette lighter socket).

The device will automatically power on when connected and the vehicle's ignition is on.
A voice prompt will indicate successful power-up.

3.1. Controls and Display

UP Button: Press to increase volume.
MENU Button: Press to adjust screen brightness.
DN Button: Press to decrease volume. Press and hold for over 5 seconds to switch between City mode and Highway mode, or to change the language between Russian and English.

The LED digital display provides visual alerts and indicates detected band types (X, K, Ka, Ku, Laser) and signal strength.

3.2. Operating Modes

Highway Mode: Provides maximum detection range for open road driving. This is the default mode upon power-up.
City Mode: Reduces false alarms in densely populated urban areas by adjusting sensitivity. To switch to City mode, press and hold the DN button for over 5 seconds.

3.3. Alert System

When a radar or laser signal is detected, the device will provide both visual alerts on the LED display and clear voice alarms. The voice alarm will indicate the type of band detected (e.g., "K-Band detected").

The frequency of the voice alert and the intensity of the display will increase as you approach the signal source.

Voice prompts are in the wrong language.	Press and hold the DN button for over 5 seconds to cycle through available languages (English/Russian).
