5. Maintenance

5.1 Emptying the Dust Cup

Empty the dust cup regularly, especially when the MAX fill line is reached. This prevents loss of suction.

1. Ensure the vacuum is turned off.
2. Press the dust cup release button to detach it from the main unit.
3. Hold the dust cup over a trash bin and press the bottom release latch to open the lid and empty contents.
4. If debris is stuck, gently remove the internal filter assembly to clear blockages.
5. Reattach the dust cup until it clicks securely.

5.2 Cleaning Filters

The vacuum uses a multi-stage filtration system. Clean filters regularly to maintain suction power.

1. Turn off the vacuum and remove the dust cup.
2. Twist and pull out the filter assembly from the dust cup.
3. Tap filters over a trash bin to remove loose dust.
4. Rinse the filters under cold running water. Do not use detergent.
5. Allow filters to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reassembling. Do not use a hairdryer or other heating methods.
6. Reinsert the dry filters and reattach the dust cup.

5.3 Cleaning the Brush Roll

Periodically check the brush roll for tangled hair or debris.

1. Ensure the vacuum is off and disconnected from the extension wand.
2. Locate the brush roll access latch on the bottom of the motorized brush head.
3. Open the latch and remove the brush roll.
4. Use scissors or a cleaning tool to cut and remove any tangled hair or fibers.
5. Reinsert the brush roll and secure the latch.
