Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the air purifier from its packaging. Retain all packaging materials for future storage or transport.
  2. Placement: Place the air purifier on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit (at least 6 inches) for proper air circulation. Avoid placing it directly against walls or furniture.
  3. Filter Installation:
    • Open the filter compartment cover.
    • Ensure all filters (Pre-Filter, Electrostatic Precipitator Filter, Ozone Removal Filter, HEPA/Activated Carbon Filter) are correctly seated in their respective trays. Some filters may come pre-installed but wrapped in plastic; remove all plastic packaging before use.
    • Close the filter compartment cover securely.

  4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

Control Panel Functions

The air purifier is operated via a touch panel located on the top of the unit and can also be controlled by a remote (if included). The digital display shows real-time air quality (PM2.5 levels).

  • Power Button: Press to turn the unit ON or OFF.
  • Mode Selection: Cycle through various operating modes:
    • Auto Mode: The purifier automatically adjusts fan speed based on detected air quality.
    • Manual Fan Speed: Select from Low, Medium, High, or Max fan speeds for continuous operation.
    • Sleep Mode: Reduces fan speed to the lowest setting for quiet operation, ideal for nighttime use. The display lights may dim or turn off in this mode.
  • Anion Function: Activates the negative ion generator to further enhance air purification by attracting dust particles.
  • UV-LED Function: Turns the UV-LED light ON or OFF. This feature helps kill certain microorganisms.
  • Child Lock: Engages or disengages the child lock feature to prevent accidental changes to settings.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your air purifier.

Filter Replacement and Cleaning

  • Filter Indicator: The filter indicator light will illuminate when the HEPA/Activated Carbon filter needs replacement, typically after approximately 2,160 hours of use (about 90 days).
  • Washable Filters: The Pre-Filter and Electrostatic Precipitator Filter are washable.
    • Carefully remove the washable filters.
    • Rinse them under running water until clean.
    • Allow filters to air dry completely before re-installing. Do not use heat to dry.
  • HEPA/Activated Carbon Filter: This filter is not washable and must be replaced.
    • Order replacement filters (Model AF5) when the indicator light appears.
    • Remove the old filter and dispose of it properly.
    • Insert the new filter, ensuring it is correctly oriented.
  • Dust Sensor Cleaning: The dust sensor located on the back of the device should be cleaned every 2 months or if the air quality readings appear inaccurate. Use a cotton swab to gently clean the detection port.

Troubleshooting
