4. Setup
Your XUDREZ roller skates come pre-assembled. Before your first use, perform the following checks:
- Unboxing: Carefully remove the skates and accessories from the packaging.
- Inspect Components: Check for any visible damage or loose parts. Ensure the wheels spin freely and the toe stops are securely attached.
- Lacing: The skates feature a high-top design with a lace-up closure. Ensure the laces are threaded correctly and can be tied firmly to provide adequate ankle support. Adjust the lacing tension for a snug yet comfortable fit.
- Wheel Tightness: While the wheels are designed to roll smoothly, occasionally check that the wheel nuts are secure. Do not overtighten, as this can impede wheel rotation.

5. Operating Instructions
Mastering roller skating requires practice. Here are some fundamental operating instructions:
- Stance: Begin with your feet shoulder-width apart, knees slightly bent, and lean slightly forward. This provides a stable center of gravity.
- Pushing Off: Push off with one foot at an angle, gliding forward on the other. Alternate feet to gain momentum.
- Braking: To stop, use the toe stop located at the front of one skate. Lift the toe of the skate with the toe stop, pressing the stopper firmly onto the ground. Apply gradual pressure to slow down and stop.
- Turning: To turn, shift your weight in the direction you want to go and gently lean. You can also use a slight scissor motion with your feet.
- Falling Safely: If you feel yourself falling, try to fall to the side, bending your knees and elbows to absorb the impact. Avoid falling backward.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance will extend the life of your skates and ensure optimal performance:
- Cleaning: Wipe down the boots with a damp cloth after each use. For deeper cleaning, use a mild soap solution and a soft brush, then air dry completely.
- Wheel Rotation: Rotate your wheels periodically to ensure even wear and prolong their lifespan.
- Bearing Care: Keep bearings clean and free of dirt and moisture. If wheels are not spinning freely, bearings may need cleaning or replacement. Avoid exposing bearings to water.
- Toe Stop Inspection: Regularly check the toe stops for wear. Replace them when they become significantly worn to maintain effective braking.
- Lace Replacement: Replace worn or frayed laces to ensure a secure fit.
- Storage: Store skates in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. The included shoe bag can be used for storage and transport.
