3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the monitor.
2. Slide the battery cover open.
3. Insert the two AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Close the battery cover securely.

3.2 Initial Device Settings

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Proper Cuff Placement

For accurate readings, proper cuff placement is essential:

1. Wrap the cuff around your wrist, ensuring the monitor's display is on the inside of your wrist.
2. The cuff should be snug but not too tight. There should be enough space to comfortably insert one finger between the cuff and your wrist.
3. The adjustable cuff fits wrists from 4.9 to 8.3 inches (12.5 cm to 21 cm).

4.2 Taking a Measurement

Follow these steps for an accurate blood pressure reading:

1. Sit comfortably with your feet flat on the floor and your arm resting on a table.
2. Position your wrist so that the monitor is at heart level.
3. Press the power button to start the measurement. The cuff will inflate, and the reading will be displayed on the bright LCD screen.
4. Remain still and do not talk during the measurement.
5. The device will display Systolic Pressure, Diastolic Pressure, and Heart Rate.

4.3 Memory Function

The monitor stores up to 60 readings per user for two users, totaling 120 readings. It also averages the last three readings. To access stored readings, press the 'M' button. Refer to the Owner's Manual for detailed navigation of memory records.

5.1 Cleaning

Store the monitor in its protective casing in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Remove batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period.
