5. Setup

Before first use, follow these steps to set up your appliance:

  1. Unpack: Remove all packaging materials, stickers, and labels from the appliance and its accessories.
  2. Clean: Wipe the exterior of the oven with a damp cloth. Wash all accessories (drip tray, crumb tray, oven rack, air fry basket, grill) in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
  3. Placement: Place the oven on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is at least 4 inches (10 cm) of clear space on all sides of the oven for proper ventilation. Do not place it directly against a wall or under cabinets.
  4. First Use Burn-Off: Before cooking food, operate the oven empty for approximately 15 minutes at 400°F (200°C) on the 'Bake' function. This will burn off any manufacturing residues and odors. A slight odor and smoke are normal during this process. Ensure the area is well-ventilated.
  5. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded 120V AC electrical outlet.

The Neretva Toaster Oven offers five primary cooking functions. Always preheat the oven for optimal results unless otherwise specified by a recipe.

General Operation:

  1. Place food on the appropriate accessory (baking tray, air fry basket, oven rack) and insert into the oven.
  2. Turn the Function Knob to select your desired cooking mode.
  3. Turn the Temperature Knob to set the desired temperature.
  4. Turn the Time Knob to set the cooking duration. The oven will begin heating.
  5. The power indicator light will illuminate during operation.
  6. When cooking is complete, the oven will chime, and the heating elements will turn off.
  7. Carefully remove food using oven mitts and the fetch tool for hot accessories.
