1. Introduction

2. Safety Information

4. Assembly Instructions (Setup)

Follow these steps carefully to assemble your game kit. The IC chip is pre-soldered to simplify the process.

  1. Prepare the Acrylic Case: Gently peel off the protective kraft paper or transparent plastic film from all acrylic case panels.
  2. Solder Components to PCB:
    • Solder the LED dot matrix displays to their designated positions on the PCB. Ensure correct orientation.
    • Solder the digital tube display.
    • Solder the control buttons (blue, yellow, green, red) to their respective pads.
    • Solder the buzzer, capacitors, and any other through-hole components as indicated in the provided paper manual.
    • Connect the battery case wires and USB power cable wires to the designated soldering points on the PCB.
  3. Test Functionality: Before fully enclosing the device, connect a power source (USB or batteries) and test the display and button responses to ensure all soldered connections are correct.
  4. Assemble the Acrylic Case: Carefully align the soldered PCB with the bottom acrylic panel. Secure it using the provided screws and nuts. Attach the side panels and then the top panel, ensuring all buttons align correctly and the case is securely fastened.

5. Operating Instructions

Your VOGURTIME game kit features 5 classic retro games and adjustable settings.

5.1 Powering On/Off

Use the red switch button located on the side of the device to power it on or off.

5.2 Power Options

The game kit operates on DC 3.5-5.5V. You can power it using:

  • A power bank via the included 5V USB cable.

  • 3 AAA batteries installed in the battery case.

5.3 Controls and Navigation

5.4 Game Selection and Play

5.5 Adjusting Brightness and Sound

  • Brightness: Use the Up and Down directional buttons to adjust the display brightness.
  • Sound: Press the Green button during gameplay to toggle the game music/sound effects on or off.

5.6 High Scores

The digital tube display shows the highest score for each game. To clear the highest score, press the Up and Down buttons simultaneously, then press the red power switch button.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the acrylic case and display. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Battery Replacement: If using AAA batteries, replace all three batteries when the display dims or the device becomes unresponsive. Ensure correct polarity.
  • Storage: Store the game kit in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Device does not power on:
    • Check if the power switch is in the ON position.
