Setup
Before setting up your portable air conditioner, ensure all packaging materials are removed and inspect the unit for any damage.
Unpacking and Component Identification
Carefully remove the unit from its packaging. The following components should be included:

Installation of Exhaust Hose and Window Kit
- Attach Exhaust Hose to Unit: Screw the exhaust hose adapter onto the exhaust outlet at the back of the air conditioner unit. Ensure it is securely fastened.
- Assemble Window Sealing Kit: Adjust the window slider kit to fit your window opening. Secure the two pieces together if they are adjustable.
- Attach Exhaust Hose to Window Kit: Connect the other end of the exhaust hose (with its adapter) to the opening in the window sealing kit.
- Install Window Kit: Place the assembled window kit into the window opening and close the window securely against it to seal the opening.
- Position Unit: Place the portable air conditioner unit near the window, ensuring the exhaust hose is extended and not kinked or bent sharply. The hose should be as short and straight as possible for optimal performance.
Placement Considerations
- Place the unit on a flat, stable floor.
- Ensure there is at least 20 inches (50 cm) of space around the unit for proper airflow.
- Avoid placing the unit in direct sunlight or near heat sources.
- Ensure the power outlet is easily accessible.
Operating Instructions
Control Panel Overview
The control panel is located on the top of the unit and features various buttons and a digital display for easy operation.
- Power Button: Turns the unit ON or OFF.
- Mode Button: Cycles through operating modes: Cool, Fan, Dry (Dehumidify).
- Temperature Up/Down Buttons: Adjusts the desired temperature in Cool mode.
- Fan Speed Button: Selects fan speed: Low, Medium, High.
- Timer Button: Sets the auto-on or auto-off timer.
- Sleep Button: Activates Sleep mode for quiet, energy-efficient operation.
- Display: Shows current temperature, timer settings, and error codes.
Remote Control Functions
The included remote control provides convenient access to all functions from a distance. Ensure batteries are correctly inserted.
- All functions available on the control panel are also accessible via the remote control.
- Point the remote control directly at the receiver window on the unit.
Operating Modes
- Cool Mode:
Press the Mode button until "Cool" is indicated on the display. Use the Temperature Up/Down buttons to set your desired temperature (typically between 62°F - 86°F / 17°C - 30°C). The unit will cool the room to the set temperature.
- Fan Mode:
Press the Mode button until "Fan" is indicated. In this mode, the unit circulates air without cooling. Use the Fan Speed button to select Low, Medium, or High fan speed.
- Dry (Dehumidify) Mode:
Press the Mode button until "Dry" is indicated. This mode removes excess moisture from the air. The fan speed is automatically set to low and cannot be adjusted. Ensure the continuous drain hose is connected for this mode.
Timer Function
The timer allows you to set the unit to automatically turn ON or OFF after a specified period (1-24 hours).
- Auto-Off: While the unit is running, press the Timer button. Use the Up/Down buttons to set the desired hours until the unit turns off.
- Auto-On: While the unit is OFF, press the Timer button. Use the Up/Down buttons to set the desired hours until the unit turns on.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures efficient operation and extends the lifespan of your portable air conditioner.
Air Filter Cleaning
The air filter should be cleaned every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage and air quality.
- Unplug the unit from the power outlet.
- Locate the air filter panel, usually at the back or side of the unit.
- Remove the filter.
- Wash the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
- Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinserting it into the unit. Do not use a dryer or direct heat.
Water Drainage
The unit has an internal water collection tank. When full, the unit will stop operating and display an "FL" (Full) error code. You will need to drain the water manually.
- Manual Drainage:
Place a shallow pan or tray under the lower drain port at the back of the unit. Remove the drain plug and allow the water to flow out. Replace the plug securely once drained.
- Continuous Drainage (Recommended for Dry Mode):
Attach the provided drain hose to the continuous drain port (usually located higher up on the back of the unit). Route the hose to a floor drain or a container placed lower than the unit's drain port to allow gravity drainage.
Storage
If storing the unit for an extended period:
- Drain all water from the unit completely.
- Clean the air filter.
- Run the unit in Fan mode for a few hours to dry the internal components.
- Unplug the power cord and wrap it neatly.
- Store the unit in a cool, dry place, covered to protect from dust.
Troubleshooting
