Setup

1. Loading the CO2 Cartridge

1. Ensure the air gun is unloaded and the safety is engaged.
2. Locate the grip panel on the handle. Gently pry off the grip panel to reveal the CO2 compartment.
3. Insert one 12-gram CO2 cartridge into the compartment with the narrow neck facing upwards.
4. Tighten the CO2 piercing screw until the cartridge is firmly seated and pierced. You may hear a small hiss as the seal is made.
5. Replace the grip panel securely.

2. Loading BBs into the Rotary Magazine

The Brodax uses a 10-shot rotary magazine.

• Remove the rotary magazine from the air gun.
• Carefully insert .177 caliber steel BBs into each of the 10 chambers of the rotary magazine.
• Once loaded, reinsert the rotary magazine into the air gun until it clicks into place.

Operating Instructions

1. Engaging and Disengaging Safety

The Umarex Brodax features an ambidextrous manual safety. To engage the safety, push the safety lever to the "Safe" position (typically indicated by a red dot being covered). To disengage, push the lever to the "Fire" position (red dot visible).

2. Firing the Air Gun

1. Ensure you are in a safe shooting environment and wearing eye protection.
2. Aim the air gun at your designated target.
3. Disengage the safety.
4. Pull the trigger to fire. The Brodax can be fired in both single-action (cocking the hammer first) and double-action (pulling the trigger all the way through) modes.
5. After firing, engage the safety if you are not immediately firing again.

3. Attaching Accessories

The integrated Picatinny rails allow for easy attachment of accessories such as optics, lasers, or lights. Simply slide the accessory onto the rail and secure it according to the accessory's instructions.

Maintenance
