4.2 Wiring Connections
The system includes integrated speaker wiring for simplified connection. Ensure all connections are secure and protected from the elements.
- Connect the speaker wires from each speaker to the corresponding outputs on the compact marine amplifier. Pay attention to positive (+) and negative (-) terminals.
- Connect the amplifier's power input to a 12V DC power source (e.g., vehicle battery). The red wire is typically positive (+), and the black wire is negative (-).
- Connect the amplifier's remote turn-on wire (if applicable) to a switched 12V source, such as your vehicle's ignition or an accessory switch.
- Connect your audio source (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player) to the amplifier's input using an appropriate audio cable (e.g., RCA or 3.5mm auxiliary).
- Use the provided butt connectors and nylon wire straps to manage and secure all wiring, ensuring no loose connections or exposed wires.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Powering On/Off
The amplifier will typically power on automatically when it receives a 12V signal from the remote turn-on wire (connected to your vehicle's ignition or accessory switch). To turn off the system, simply turn off your vehicle's ignition or the connected accessory switch.
5.2 Audio Playback
Once the system is powered on and your audio source is connected, begin playing audio from your device. The amplifier will process the signal and send it to the speakers.
5.3 Volume Control
Adjust the volume primarily from your connected audio source (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player). The amplifier may have a gain control, which should be set during initial setup to match the output of your audio source and avoid distortion.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance will help ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Pyle speaker system.
- Cleaning: Clean the speakers and amplifier with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Waterproof Care: Periodically inspect all connections and seals for any signs of wear or damage that could compromise the waterproof rating. Ensure rubber caps on terminals are securely in place.
- Connection Check: Regularly check all wiring connections to ensure they remain tight and free from corrosion, especially in marine environments.
- Storage: If storing the vehicle for an extended period, consider disconnecting the power to the amplifier to prevent battery drain.

7. Troubleshooting
If you experience issues with your speaker system, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No Power | Loose power connection, blown fuse, no remote turn-on signal. | Check power and ground connections. Inspect inline fuse. Verify remote turn-on wire is receiving 12V. |
| No Sound | No audio input, loose speaker wires, amplifier in protection mode. | Ensure audio source is playing and connected. Check speaker wire connections. Turn off and restart amplifier. |
| Distorted Sound | Gain set too high, damaged speaker, poor audio source quality. | Reduce gain setting on amplifier. Test with a different audio source. Inspect speakers for physical damage. |
| Intermittent Sound | Loose wiring, poor ground connection. | Check all power, ground, and speaker connections for tightness and corrosion. |
