Installation Instructions
- Remove Old Gasket: Carefully remove the old or damaged gasket from your tumbler or mug lid. Use a small, non-abrasive tool if necessary to pry it out, being careful not to damage the lid.
- Clean the Lid: Thoroughly clean the gasket groove on your lid to remove any residue or debris. Ensure the groove is completely dry before installing the new gasket.
- Install New Gasket: Gently stretch and press the new REDUCE gasket into the designated groove on the underside of your lid. Ensure the gasket is seated evenly and completely around the entire circumference of the groove. The gasket should lie flat and not be twisted or pinched.
- Test for Seal: After installation, attach the lid to your tumbler or mug and fill it with water. Invert the container to check for any leaks. If leaks occur, re-adjust the gasket to ensure a proper seal.

Care and Maintenance
- Cleaning: The REDUCE Tumbler Lid Gaskets are dishwasher safe. For best results, place them on the top rack of your dishwasher. Alternatively, hand wash with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
- Drying: Ensure gaskets are completely dry before re-installing them into the lid or storing them to prevent mold or mildew buildup.
- Storage: Store unused gaskets in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect your gaskets for signs of wear, tear, or damage. Replace them if they appear cracked, stretched, or no longer form a tight seal.
Troubleshooting
- Lid is Leaking:
- Ensure the gasket is correctly seated in the lid's groove, with no twists or gaps.
- Check if the gasket is damaged or worn. A damaged gasket will not create an effective seal and should be replaced.
- Verify that the lid is securely fastened to the tumbler or mug.
- Lid is Difficult to Close/Open:
- Ensure the gasket is not pinched or improperly installed, which can create excessive friction.
- A new gasket may be slightly stiffer initially; it will soften with use.
