  • Measurement Accuracy: Always use the attached Current Transformer (CT) for measurements. Using a different CT or not using one will result in inaccurate readings.
  • Environmental Conditions: Avoid direct exposure to sunlight and ensure the operating environment adheres to the specified temperature and humidity ranges to prevent malfunction.

Installation and Wiring

Follow these steps for proper installation and wiring of the AC Display Meter:

  1. Snap-in Installation: The meter is designed for fast and firm snap-in installation into a compatible panel cutout.
  2. Connect Voltage Input: Connect the green terminal of the meter to the AC measurement voltage input.
  3. Connect Current Transformer (CT):
    • Pass one of the wires of the measuring load through the round hole in the middle of the current transformer (CT).
    • Connect the blue terminal of the meter to the secondary output of the current transformer.
    • Important: The wires passing through the transformer AC have no polarity or direction, so the orientation does not matter.
  4. Power Source: The meter is powered by the circuit being measured, eliminating the need for an extra power source.

Operation

Reading the Display

Once properly installed and powered, the AC Display Meter will automatically show the following values on its color LCD screen simultaneously:

  • Voltage (V): Displays the AC voltage.
  • Current (A): Displays the AC current.
  • Active Power (W): Displays the real power consumed.
  • Electric Energy (kWh): Displays the accumulated electric energy.
  • Power Frequency (Hz): Displays the frequency of the AC supply.
  • Power Factor (PF): Displays the power factor.

Memory Function

The meter features an automatic memory function. When the meter is in use, the cumulative value of the electric energy (kWh) is stored automatically. This means that previous power data is saved even if the meter loses power.

Clearing Accumulated Electric Energy

To clear the accumulated electric energy (kWh) value:

  • Locate the small button on the front panel of the meter (often near the display).
  • Press and hold this button for approximately 5 seconds.
  • The accumulated electric energy value will reset to zero.

Troubleshooting

Accumulated electric energy (kWh) does not clear.
  • Ensure you are pressing and holding the clear button for the full 5 seconds.
