3. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your ILOKEY BC43 FM Transmitter:

1. Plug In: Insert the FM transmitter into your car's 12V/24V cigarette lighter socket. The device will power on automatically and display the current car battery voltage.
2. Set FM Frequency:
   • Tune your car's FM radio to an empty frequency (one with no strong broadcast signal).
   • On the FM transmitter, press the "CH-" or "CH+" buttons to adjust the FM frequency to match your car's radio. Long press the "CH" button to enter frequency adjustment mode, then use the rotary knob or "CH-"/"CH+" buttons to fine-tune.
3. Bluetooth Pairing:
   • The transmitter will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode. The screen will show "BT NOT LINK" or similar.
   • On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices. Select "BC43" (or "CAR KIT") from the list to connect.
   • Once successfully paired, the screen will show "BT LINK" and you will hear a confirmation tone.
4. Audio Playback:
   • You can now play music from your mobile device via Bluetooth, or insert a TF card/USB flash drive into the designated slots on the transmitter for direct playback.
   • Ensure your car's FM radio is tuned to the same frequency as the transmitter for audio output.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Music Playback

• Bluetooth Mode: Once paired, music from your phone will automatically stream to the transmitter. Use your phone or the transmitter's controls (play/pause, next/previous track) to manage playback.
• TF Card/USB Drive Mode: Insert a TF card or USB flash drive (up to 32GB) with MP3, WMA, WAV, APE, or FLAC audio files. The device will automatically detect and play music. Use the "MODE" button to switch between input sources.
• Volume Adjustment: Rotate the central knob to adjust the volume.
• Sound Effects: Press the "BASS" or "TRE" buttons to enhance bass or treble.

4.2 Hands-Free Calling

• Answer/End Call: Short press the central music/phone button (♬/☎) to answer an incoming call or end an ongoing call.
• Reject Call: Long press the central music/phone button (♬/☎) to reject an incoming call.
• Redial: Double-press the central music/phone button (♬/☎) to redial the last number.

4.3 Voice Assistant (Siri/Google Assistant)

• After Bluetooth connection, press and hold the central music/phone button (♬/☎) for 2 seconds to activate your phone's voice assistant (Siri or Google Assistant).
• Short press the button again to exit the voice assistant function.

4.4 Charging Functions

• The device features dual USB charging ports: one PD (Power Delivery) port and one QC3.0 (Quick Charge 3.0) port.
• These ports support various fast charging protocols including QC 3.0, QC2.0, PD, Huawei FCP, Samsung AFC, and BC1.2.
• Connect your mobile device or other USB-powered gadgets to these ports for rapid charging.
