4. Controls and Indicators

• Power Button (⏻): Press to turn the device on or off.
• Timer Button (⏱): Short press to cycle through timer options (15, 30, 60, 120 minutes, or continuous play). Long press to turn the timer indicator light on/off.
• Volume Down Button (-): Decreases the volume level.
• Volume Up Button (+): Increases the volume level.
• Previous Sound Button (⏮): Selects the previous sound.
• Next Sound Button (⏰): Selects the next sound.
• Timer Indicator Lights: Small LEDs indicate the active timer setting (15, 30, 60, 120 minutes, or continuous).

5. Setup

5.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the device. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the charging port on the side of the sound machine and to a compatible USB power adapter (not included). The timer light will flash slowly while charging and remain steady when fully charged. A full charge typically takes approximately 4 hours.

5.2 Portable Use

The sound machine includes a hanging lanyard. Attach the lanyard to the designated loop on the device for easy portability, allowing it to be hung on a stroller, crib, or door handle.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

• To turn on: Press the Power button (⏻).
• To turn off: Press the Power button (⏻) again.

6.2 Sound Selection

• To select a sound: Use the Previous Sound (⏮) or Next Sound (⏰) buttons to cycle through the 25 available sounds.

6.3 Volume Adjustment

• To adjust volume: Use the Volume Down (-) or Volume Up (+) buttons. There are 32 distinct volume levels.

6.4 Timer Settings

• To set a timer: Short press the Timer button (⏱) to select 15, 30, 60, or 120 minutes. The corresponding indicator light will illuminate.
• For continuous play: Cycle through the timer options until no timer indicator light is illuminated (or the 'infinity' symbol is lit, depending on the model's specific indicator).
• To turn off timer indicator light: Long press the Timer button (⏱). This will turn off the light without affecting the active timer setting.

6.5 Memory Function

The device will automatically remember the last selected sound and volume level when powered off and on again.

7. Maintenance

• Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
• Keep the device away from water and excessive moisture.
• Store in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.

8. Troubleshooting

• Device not turning on: Ensure the device is charged. Connect to a USB power source and allow it to charge for a few minutes before attempting to power on.
• Sound quality is poor or distorted: Check the battery level. Low battery can affect sound quality. Recharge the device promptly.
• Device automatically turns off unexpectedly: Verify the timer setting. The device will turn off according to the set timer. If continuous play is desired, ensure no timer is active.
• Timer indicator light is off but timer is active: This is normal behavior if the timer indicator light has been manually turned off by a long press of the Timer button. The timer function remains active.
