Setup
1. Battery Installation
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the device.
- Insert the two AAA batteries according to the polarity indicators (+ and -) inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
2. Lanyard Attachment
Thread the provided lanyard through the loop on the side of the pulse oximeter for convenient carrying.
Operating Instructions
1. Taking a Measurement
- Ensure the device has batteries installed.
- Open the clamp of the oximeter.
- Insert one finger (preferably the index finger) into the rubber opening of the oximeter, ensuring the finger is placed correctly.
- Release the clamp.
- Press the power button once to turn on the device.
- Keep your hand still and avoid movement during the measurement.
- Readings for SpO2, PR, PI, and RR will appear on the display within a few seconds.

2. Understanding the Display
The dual-color OLED display shows various parameters:
- SpO2%: Blood Oxygen Saturation Level
- PR bpm: Pulse Rate (beats per minute)
- PI: Perfusion Index
- RR: Respiratory Rate
- Plethysmographic Waveform: Visual representation of blood flow.

3. Display Modes and Brightness
- The display supports 4-direction rotation, offering 6 different layout modes. Press the power button briefly while the device is on to cycle through these modes.
- The OLED screen brightness is 5-level adjustable. This feature helps with readability in various lighting conditions, including darkness.

4. Audio Alarm Function
The device features an audio alarm that sounds when readings fall outside user-defined thresholds for SpO2 and PR bpm. These thresholds are adjustable. Refer to the device settings for customization.

5. Automatic Power Off
To conserve battery life, the oximeter automatically turns off after 8 seconds of being idle (no finger detected).
Maintenance
1. Cleaning
To clean the device, gently wipe the surface with a soft cloth dampened with a mild disinfectant. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaning agents, as these may damage the device. Ensure the device is completely dry before storage or next use. Pay particular attention to the inner rubber pads where the finger is placed.
2. Battery Replacement
When the battery indicator shows low power, replace both AAA batteries promptly. Always use new batteries and dispose of old batteries responsibly.
3. Storage
Store the pulse oximeter in its carrying case in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and moisture. Remove batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period.
Troubleshooting
- No Display/Device Not Turning On:
- Check if batteries are installed correctly with the correct polarity.
- Replace old batteries with new ones.
- Ensure the power button is pressed firmly.
- Inaccurate or Unstable Readings:
- Ensure the finger is fully inserted into the oximeter and resting flat.
- Keep the hand and body still during measurement.
- Avoid taking measurements in direct sunlight or strong artificial light.
- Nail polish or artificial nails may interfere with readings; remove them if necessary.
- Ensure the device is clean, especially the internal sensor area.
- "Finger Out" or Error Message:
- Re-insert the finger, ensuring it is properly positioned.
- Try a different finger.
