  • 1x Tubing (33 feet)
  • 10x Stakes
  • 10x Water Droppers
  • 3x Straight Joints
  • 10x T-Joints
  • 1x Water Filter

Setup Instructions

  1. Prepare Water Source: Place the water filter at the end of the main intake tube and submerge it in a water container (e.g., a bucket or reservoir). Ensure the water source is stable and sufficient for your watering needs.
  2. Connect Tubing:
    • Connect one end of the main intake tube to the "IN" port on the main unit.
    • Connect the longer tubing (33 feet) to the "OUT" port on the main unit.
    • Cut the tubing to desired lengths to reach your potted plants. Use T-joints to branch off to multiple plants and straight joints to extend tubing as needed.
  3. Install Droppers and Stakes: Insert a water dropper into the end of each tube segment leading to a plant. Use the provided stakes to secure the droppers in the soil near the base of each plant.
  4. Position Main Unit: Place the main unit in a convenient location. Due to the anti-siphon motor, the unit can be placed at any height relative to the water source. However, it is recommended for indoor use and should be protected from heavy rain.
  5. Initial Charge: Ensure the built-in 2600 mAh Lithium Ion battery is fully charged before first use. Connect the unit to a USB power source using a compatible cable (not explicitly listed but implied for charging).

Important Operating Notes:

  • The system is designed for indoor use. While it has an IP66 waterproof rating, it is not resistant to heavy rain and should not be exposed to harsh outdoor weather conditions.
  • Regularly check the water reservoir to ensure it contains enough water for the programmed cycles.
  • The anti-siphon motor ensures consistent water delivery even if the main unit is placed above the water source.

Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and efficient operation of your YITIKA Automatic Watering System.

  • Clean Water Filter: Periodically remove and clean the water filter submerged in your water reservoir to prevent blockages and ensure clean water delivery. Rinse it under running water to remove any debris.
  • Inspect Tubing and Droppers: Regularly check the black tubing and droppers for any signs of blockages, kinks, or damage. Although the black tubing is designed to prevent moss, occasional inspection is recommended. Clear any obstructions to maintain consistent water flow.
  • Battery Management: Recharge the internal 2600 mAh battery as needed. The LED display may indicate low battery status. Avoid completely draining the battery frequently to prolong its lifespan.
  • Storage: If storing the system for an extended period, ensure the battery is partially charged (around 50%) and store the unit in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Drain all water from the tubes and main unit before storage.
