3. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps to correctly install the 2B Size Left Ear Sound Tube onto your Banglijian hearing amplifier.
Installation Steps:
- Remove Old Tube: Gently grasp the 'device end' of the old sound tube. Loosen it by turning counterclockwise until it detaches. Avoid bending the tube back and forth during removal to prevent damage to the device.
- Prepare New Tube: Take a new 2B Size Left Ear Sound Tube from the packaging. Ensure it is clean and free from debris.
- Attach New Tube: Align the 'hearing amplifier end' of the new tube with the device. Gently push and rotate clockwise until it clicks securely into place. The initial connection may feel snug, which is normal for an airtight seal. It will loosen slightly with regular use.
- Insert into Ear: Place the hearing amplifier over the top of your ear until it rests securely behind your ear. While holding the hearing amplifier in place, insert the ear dome into your ear canal. Bend the pulling line along the curve of your ear.

4. Operating Tips
While the sound tubes themselves do not have operational controls, their proper use is integral to the hearing amplifier's function.
- Initial Use: When first using the hearing amplifier with a new tube, ensure the ear dome fits snugly inside your ear. Start with the volume as low as possible, preferably in 'Noisy Mode' if available, and gradually increase it. It may take 2-4 weeks to fully adapt to the device.
- Reducing Whistling: To minimize whistling or feedback, ensure you select a suitable size ear dome that creates a tight seal in your ear canal. Verify that all connections (ear dome, tube, and device) are secure.
5. Maintenance
Regular cleaning and timely replacement of your sound tubes are essential for hygiene and optimal sound quality.
Cleaning the Tube and Ear Dome:
- You can use the cleaning line provided with your hearing amplifier to clear any blockages inside the tube.
- Rinse the tube and ear dome with water or wipe with alcohol. Mild warm soap can also be used. Ensure they are completely dry before reattaching to the hearing amplifier.
When to Change Tubes:
It is recommended to change the sound tubes every 2-3 months, or sooner if you notice any of the following:
- Whistling or static sounds.
- Visible cracks or stiffness in the tube.
- Discoloration of the tube.
Device Care (General):
The hearing amplifier device itself is not waterproof. To prevent moisture damage and extend its lifespan, place the device into a hearing aid dry box or a cool, dry place when not in use. Always use the provided charger to charge the device in a timely manner, as prolonged low power can damage the battery.
6. Troubleshooting: No or Low Sound
If your hearing amplifier produces no or low sound, follow these steps:
- Clean/Replace Tube and Ear Dome: Earwax can block the tube and ear dome, causing sound issues. Clean or replace these components as described in the Maintenance section.
- Check Device Charge: Ensure your hearing amplifier is fully charged.
- Test Device: Remove the sound tube from the device (turn counterclockwise). Turn on the device and increase the volume. Hold the device close to your ear. If you hear an amplified sound or whistling, the issue is likely with the tube or ear dome, and they need replacement. If there is no sound, the device itself may need replacement or service.
