4. Setup
4.1 Attaching the Nozzle
- Align the nozzle assembly with the blower's air outlet.
- Push the nozzle firmly onto the blower until it clicks into place, ensuring it is securely fastened.

4.2 Battery Installation and Removal
This blower uses a Makita 40V Max Li-ion XGT battery.
- To Install: Slide the battery into the battery slot on the blower until it locks into place with a click. Ensure the battery is fully seated.
- To Remove: Press the battery release button (usually located on the side of the battery) and slide the battery out of the slot.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
- To turn on the blower, press the power button located on the top of the unit.
- To turn off the blower, press the power button again.

5.2 Variable Speed Control and Trigger
The blower's speed is controlled by the trigger. Press the trigger to start the airflow and vary the pressure to adjust the speed. The more you press, the higher the airflow speed.
5.3 Cruise Control Function
For extended operation at a consistent speed, utilize the cruise control lever:
- Press the trigger to achieve the desired airflow speed.
- Slide the cruise control lever forward to lock the trigger in position.
- To release cruise control, simply pull the trigger fully and then release it.

5.4 Boost Mode
The blower features a boost mode that provides a maximum blowing force of 17N for demanding tasks. This mode is always available and can be activated by fully depressing the trigger or by adjusting the cruise control to its highest setting.
5.5 Telescopic Long Nozzle
The 3-stage telescopic long nozzle can be adjusted to suit various tasks and user heights. Extend or retract the nozzle by pulling or pushing it while pressing the release buttons (if applicable) or twisting the sections.
