Filters should be cleaned regularly after heavy use. Replace filters annually or sooner if you notice a decrease in suction, visible damage, or if cleaning no longer restores performance.

5. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your vacuum's performance after installing the ANBOO replacement filters, consider the following:

  • Reduced Suction:
    • Ensure the filter is clean and not clogged.
    • Verify the filter is correctly seated and sealed against the motor housing.
    • Check that only one filter type (cartridge or foam sleeve) is installed at a time, appropriate for the task.
  • Filter Not Fitting Properly:
    • Confirm your Shop-Vac model is compatible with replacement parts 90304 or 90585.
    • Ensure the filter cage is free of obstructions or damage.
    • Note: This product is designed for most 5-gallon and up Shop-Vac models but may not fit specific portable models like H87S or HangUp vacuums.
  • Water Spraying During Wet Pickup:
    • Ensure the foam sleeve is installed correctly and completely covers the filter cage.
    • Verify the foam sleeve is not damaged or torn.
