2.1 Package Contents

2.2 Power Connection

  1. Connect the AC power adapter to a suitable wall outlet.
  2. Plug the DC output of the AC power adapter into the 10-20V DC input port on the side of the IMAX B6 charger.

2.3 Battery Connection

  2. Connect the main charging lead (e.g., 4mm banana plug) to the OUTPUT ports on the right side of the charger (red for positive, black for negative).
  3. For balance charging LiPo, LiFe, Li-ion, or LiHV batteries, connect the battery's balance lead to the appropriate JST-XH balance port on the right side of the charger (labeled 2S, 3S, 4S, 5S, 6S). Ensure the correct cell count port is used.

The charger features an LCD screen and four buttons: Batt. Type, Dec., Inc., and Start/Enter.

  • Batt. Type: Press to enter user settings, select battery type, or exit the current program.
  • Dec. (Decrease): Decreases parameter values or scrolls down through options.
