1. Important Safety Instructions

  • Always read all instructions before using the appliance.
  • Use the appliance only for its intended household use.

3. Setup Guide

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the steam press from its packaging. Retain all packaging materials for future storage or transport.
  2. Placement: Place the steam press on a stable, flat surface. Ensure adequate space around the unit for safe operation.
  3. Water Tank Preparation:

    Locate the removable water tank beneath the ironing surface. Pull it out gently.

    Remove the anti-scale filter from the tank. Fill the tank with distilled water up to the MAX fill line. Reinsert the filter and securely place the water tank back into the unit.

  4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
  5. Power On: Press the 'ON/OFF' button on the control panel to power on the unit. The digital display will illuminate.

4. Operating Instructions

The Speedypress 80HD offers various settings for different fabric types. Always check the garment's care label before pressing.

  1. Select Fabric Mode: Use the 'SELECT' buttons (left/right arrows) to cycle through the fabric modes (e.g., Cotton, Wool, Silk, Linen, Nylon). The display will show the recommended temperature for each mode.
  2. Pre-heating: Allow the press to pre-heat to the selected temperature. The temperature indicator on the display will stabilize when ready.
  3. Positioning Garment: Carefully lay the garment flat on the ironing surface. Ensure it is smooth and free of creases in the area to be pressed. For larger items, press sections at a time.
  4. Applying Pressure: Gently lower the top pressing plate using the handle until it makes contact with the fabric. The unit will automatically apply pressure.
  5. Steam Function: If steam is desired for the selected fabric, press the 'STEAM' button. Steam will be released from the jets. Hold for a few seconds (typically 3-5 seconds for most fabrics).

  6. Release and Reposition: Lift the top pressing plate. Reposition the garment to press the next section. Repeat steps 3-5 until the entire garment is wrinkle-free.
  7. Using the Sleeve Board (if applicable): For sleeves, collars, and other small areas, utilize the integrated sleeve board. Slide the sleeve onto the board and press as usual.

5. Maintenance and Care

  • Cleaning the Pressing Plate: Allow the unit to cool completely. Wipe the non-stick heating plate with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
  • Cleaning the Cover: The burn-proof and washable cover can be removed for cleaning. Follow the care instructions on the cover's label.
  • Water Tank and Filter: Regularly empty and clean the water tank to prevent mineral build-up. The anti-scale filter should also be cleaned or replaced periodically as per the manufacturer's recommendations to maintain optimal steam performance.
  • Storage: When not in use, ensure the unit is cool and dry. Engage the safety locks and store in a safe, upright position.
