Figure 3: Rear Connections. This image provides a detailed view of the rear panel, highlighting the INTAKE INTERFACE for air input, the AIR OUTLET for nitrogen output, and the WATER SEPARATOR, which is an imported large-capacity explosion-proof oil-water separator.
4. Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the machine from its packaging. Inspect for any signs of damage during transit.
- Placement: Position the machine on a stable, level surface in a well-ventilated area. Ensure there is sufficient space around the unit for air circulation and access to connections.
- Power Connection: Connect the power cable to the designated power input on the machine (refer to Figure 2). Plug the other end into a grounded AC 220V 50-60Hz power outlet.
- Air Intake Connection: Connect your compressed air supply line to the INTAKE INTERFACE on the rear of the machine (refer to Figure 3). Ensure a secure, airtight connection.
- Nitrogen Output Hose: Connect the provided 10m high-quality rubber trachea to the AIR OUTLET. Attach the solid pure copper self-locking inflatable nozzle to the other end of the hose.
- Initial Check: Before powering on, ensure all connections are secure and there are no visible obstructions or damage.
5. Operating Instructions
- Power On: Locate the power SWITCH (refer to Figure 2) and turn the machine on. The LCD display will illuminate.
- System Initialization: Allow the machine a few moments to initialize. The LCD display will show current status and settings.
- Set Desired Pressure: Use the controls on the front panel to set the desired tire inflation pressure. The large-size LCD full-view screen provides clear feedback. The pressure measurement range is 15-100Psi/1-7Bar.
- Connect to Tire: Attach the self-locking inflatable nozzle securely to the tire valve stem.
- Start Inflation: Initiate the nitrogen filling process using the appropriate control on the machine. The machine will automatically fill the tire to the preset pressure with nitrogen of 95-99.5% purity.
- Monitor Progress: Observe the mechanical dual pressure display and the LCD screen to monitor the inflation process.
- Completion: Once the desired pressure is reached, the machine will automatically stop. Disconnect the nozzle from the tire valve.
- Power Off: After use, turn off the machine using the power switch.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your DP-8500 machine.
- Daily Cleaning: Wipe down the exterior of the machine with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and debris.
- Water Separator Check: Regularly inspect the WATER SEPARATOR (refer to Figure 3) for accumulated moisture. Follow manufacturer guidelines for draining or replacing the filter element as needed. A clean separator is crucial for maintaining nitrogen purity.
- Hose and Nozzle Inspection: Periodically check the rubber trachea and the inflatable nozzle for any signs of wear, cracks, or damage. Replace components if necessary to prevent leaks.
- Air Filter: Ensure the air intake filter (if present, typically part of the intake system) is clean and free of obstructions to maintain proper airflow.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the machine in a clean, dry environment, disconnected from power and air supply.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your DP-8500 machine, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps.
- Machine Does Not Power On:
- Check if the power cable is securely connected to both the machine and the power outlet.
- Verify that the power outlet is functional.
- Ensure the power switch is in the "ON" position.
- No Nitrogen Output / Low Pressure:
- Confirm that the compressed air supply is connected and active.
- Check for any kinks or blockages in the air intake line or the nitrogen output hose.
- Inspect the water separator; a clogged separator can restrict airflow.
- Ensure the desired pressure is correctly set on the control panel.
- Check for leaks in the hose or nozzle connections.
- Inaccurate Pressure Readings:
- Ensure the tire valve is clean and free of debris.
- Verify the nozzle is securely attached to the tire valve.
- If discrepancies persist, contact customer support for calibration or service.
- Unusual Noises or Odors:
- Immediately power off the machine and disconnect it from the power supply.
- Inspect for any loose parts or visible damage.
- Do not operate the machine if unusual noises or odors persist. Contact qualified service personnel.
