4. Setup Guide

4.1 Unboxing and Component Overview

4.2 Power Connection

This camera does not support Power over Ethernet (PoE). It requires a DC 12V power supply. Connect the camera to a DC 12V power source using the provided power cable.

4.3 Network Connection

Connect the camera to your network using an Ethernet RJ-45 cable. The camera supports 10M/100M network speeds. For optimal surveillance, connect the camera to a Network Video Recorder (NVR).

4.4 Installation

The camera can be wall-mounted. Use the provided bracket and installation kit (screws and wall plugs) to secure the camera in your desired location. Ensure the area provides a clear field of view for surveillance.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Viewing Surveillance Footage

Once the camera is connected to your NVR and network, you can view the surveillance feed on a connected monitor. The NVR interface will allow you to manage multiple cameras and recordings.

5.2 Mobile Access (P6SLite App)

Download the P6SLite mobile application on your Android device. Follow the app's instructions to add your camera and access live footage and playback remotely from anywhere.

5.3 Motion Detection Settings

Configure motion detection settings through your NVR or the P6SLite app. You can set detection zones, sensitivity levels, and recording schedules to optimize surveillance and minimize false alarms.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your PEGATISAN IP Camera, consider the following:

  • No Video Feed: Ensure the camera is properly powered and the network cable is securely connected to both the camera and the NVR/router. Verify that the NVR is configured correctly to detect the camera.
  • Poor Image Quality: Check the lens for dirt or obstructions. Ensure the camera is positioned in an area with adequate lighting, especially at night. Verify that the resolution settings on your NVR or app are set to 3MP.
  • Remote Access Issues: Confirm your mobile device has a stable internet connection. Ensure the camera and NVR are connected to the internet and that port forwarding (if required by your network setup) is correctly configured. Re-check app settings and camera pairing.
  • Motion Detection Not Working: Review the motion detection settings in your NVR or P6SLite app. Adjust sensitivity and detection zones as needed.
