2. Safety Information

WARNING: Failure to follow these safety instructions may result in serious injury or death.

Always inspect the hoist, chain, and hooks for damage or wear before each use. Do not use if any component is compromised.

Ensure the load is properly balanced and secured before lifting.

4. Setup

Before setting up the hoist, ensure the working area is clear and stable. Identify a secure overhead anchor point capable of supporting the maximum load plus the weight of the hoist itself.

Attach the Hoist: Securely attach the upper hook of the hoist to the designated anchor point. Ensure the safety latch on the hook is fully closed.
Inspect the Chain: Uncoil the G80 alloy steel chain, ensuring there are no twists, kinks, or damage. The chain should hang freely.
Prepare the Load: Attach the lower hook to the load. Verify that the load is balanced and the hook's safety latch is engaged.
Adjust Chain Length (Neutral Gear): If necessary, use the 3-speed dial to set the hoist to 'N' (Neutral) gear. This allows the chain to be pulled freely by hand to quickly adjust the length to reach the load. Once adjusted, return the dial to the desired operating position (UP or DN).

5. Operating Instructions

The YATOINTO Manual Lever Chain Hoist features a 3-speed dial for controlling the chain movement and a 360-degree rotating handle for ease of use in various positions.

Lifting the Load (UP):
- Set the 3-speed dial to the 'UP' position.
- Operate the lever handle with smooth, consistent strokes. The hoist will lift the load incrementally with each stroke.
- Ensure the load is stable throughout the lifting process.
Lowering the Load (DN):
- Set the 3-speed dial to the 'DN' position.
- Operate the lever handle with smooth, controlled strokes. The hoist will lower the load incrementally.
- Lower the load slowly and carefully to prevent sudden drops or uncontrolled movement.
Neutral Gear (N Gear):
- Set the 3-speed dial to the 'N' position.
- In this mode, the chain can be pulled freely by hand to quickly adjust its length without engaging the lifting mechanism. This is useful for positioning the hooks before attaching a load or after removing one.
- Always return the dial to 'UP' or 'DN' before attempting to lift or lower a load.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance is crucial for the longevity and safe operation of your YATOINTO Lever Chain Hoist.

Routine Inspection: Before and after each use, visually inspect the entire hoist, including the housing, chain, hooks, safety latches, and lever mechanism. Look for any signs of wear, deformation, cracks, corrosion, or damage.
Chain Care: The G80 galvanized chain is designed for resistance to corrosion and wear. However, keep the chain clean and free of debris. Periodically apply a light lubricant suitable for chains to ensure smooth operation and prevent rust, especially in humid environments.
Hook Inspection: Ensure the safety latches on both hooks operate freely and fully close. Check for any bending or widening of the hook openings. The 360° swivel hook should rotate smoothly.
Braking System: The double pawl brake system is designed for high safety. If you notice any slippage or inconsistent braking, discontinue use immediately and have the hoist inspected by a qualified technician.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your YATOINTO Lever Chain Hoist, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

Problem	Possible Cause	Solution
Chain does not move freely in Neutral (N) gear.	Chain is twisted, kinked, or jammed.	Ensure the chain is straight and free of obstructions. Check for debris in the mechanism.
