7. Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning the Bathtub Surface
Regularly clean the high gloss acrylic surface with a soft cloth and a non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid using abrasive sponges, brushes, or chemical cleaners containing ammonia, bleach, or harsh acids, as these can damage the finish.
7.2 Cleaning the Jet System
To maintain hygiene and optimal performance, periodically clean the internal pipework of the jet system. Fill the tub with warm water, add a recommended jet cleaner or a small amount of dishwasher detergent, and run the jets for 10-15 minutes. Drain the tub and rinse thoroughly.
7.3 Draining the Bathtub
The bathtub is equipped with a pre-assembled chrome finish drain and overflow. To drain the tub, simply open the drain mechanism. Ensure the drain is clear of debris to prevent blockages.
8. Troubleshooting
- Jets or Air Bubbles Not Activating: Check that the bathtub is properly connected to the dedicated electrical outlets and that the circuit breakers are not tripped. Ensure the water level is above the jets.
- Water Not Draining: Check the drain for any obstructions. If the issue persists, professional plumbing assistance may be required.
- Excessive Splashing from Air Bubbles: The air bubble jets are powerful. Adjusting the water level or the intensity control (if available on your model) may help reduce splashing.
- Chromotherapy Light Malfunction: If the light is not working or cycling incorrectly, check electrical connections. For persistent issues, contact customer support.
