  3. Press Button B (bottom right) to adjust the chronograph second hand to the zero position.
  4. Push the crown back to position 0.

3.4 Band Adjustment

The watch band can be adjusted to fit your wrist size. A link removal tool is typically included with the watch for this purpose. If you are unsure, it is recommended to have a professional jeweler adjust the band.

  2. Pause: Press Button A again to pause the chronograph. The hands will stop, indicating the elapsed time.
  3. Resume: Press Button A again to resume timing from where it was paused.
  4. Reset: While the chronograph is paused, press Button B (bottom right) to reset all chronograph hands to the zero position.

4.2 Luminous Display

The hands and hour markers of your MEGALITH 8212M watch are coated with a luminous material. This material absorbs light during exposure and emits it in low-light conditions, providing visibility in the dark. The intensity and duration of the glow depend on the exposure time and intensity of light absorbed.

5. Maintenance and Care

5.1 Water Resistance

Your MEGALITH 8212M watch is rated for 3ATM (30 meters) water resistance. This means it is suitable for daily use and can withstand splashes, rain, and brief immersion in water. However, it is not suitable for bathing, swimming, diving, or any activities involving prolonged water exposure or high-pressure water jets. Do not operate the crown or push buttons when the watch is wet.

5.2 Cleaning

To clean your watch, wipe it gently with a soft, dry cloth. For stainless steel bands, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by a dry cloth. Avoid using chemical cleaners, solvents, or abrasive materials, as these can damage the watch's finish or internal components.

5.3 Battery Replacement

The watch is powered by a standard watch battery. When the watch stops running or the timekeeping becomes erratic, it may be time to replace the battery. Battery replacement should be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure the water resistance seal is maintained.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Watch not running: Check if the crown is pushed fully into position 0. If it is, the battery may need replacement.
  • Incorrect time/date: Refer to Section 3.1 and 3.2 for instructions on setting the time and date.
  • Chronograph hands not resetting to zero: Refer to Section 3.3 for instructions on chronograph hand reset.
  • Fogging under the crystal: This may indicate a loss of water resistance. Avoid further water exposure and have the watch inspected by a professional.
