Setup and Operating Instructions
1. Initial Setup
- Select Correct Input Voltage: Before connecting the power cord, ensure the AC Input Select Switch on the back of the unit is set to match your local power supply (e.g., 110V/120V or 220V/240V). This is crucial to prevent damage to the unit and connected appliances.
- Connect Power Cord: Plug the provided heavy-duty insulated power cord into the AC Input Port on the back of the converter.
- Plug into Wall Outlet: Connect the other end of the power cord to a grounded wall outlet. If using in a country with a different plug type than the provided US plug, use a suitable plug adapter (sold separately).

2. Connecting Appliances
- Identify Appliance Voltage: Determine the voltage requirement of the appliance you wish to power.
- Select Output Socket:
- For 110-120V appliances (e.g., US devices in a 220-240V region), use the 110V-120V USA Output Sockets.
- For 220-240V appliances (e.g., European devices in a 110-120V region), use the 220V-240V Universal Output Sockets.
- Plug in Appliance: Insert your appliance's plug into the corresponding output socket on the front of the converter.
- Power On: Flip the red ON/OFF switch to the "ON" position. The green POWER LED will illuminate, indicating the unit is active.

Maintenance

Troubleshooting
No Power / Unit Not Turning On:
- Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into both the converter and the wall outlet.
- Verify that the wall outlet is functional by testing it with another device.
- Check the resettable circuit breaker on the back of the unit. If it has popped out, press it back in to reset.
- Confirm the ON/OFF switch is in the "ON" position.
Appliance Not Working:
- Ensure the appliance is correctly plugged into the appropriate output socket (110-120V or 220-240V).
- Verify that the AC Input Select Switch on the back of the converter is set to match your local input voltage.
- Check if the appliance's wattage exceeds the converter's 3000W capacity, especially for startup power.
- If the circuit breaker trips repeatedly, the connected appliance may be drawing too much power or there might be a fault with the appliance. Disconnect the appliance and try a lower-wattage device.
