4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking

  • Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging.
  • Remove all packing materials, tapes, and protective films.
  • Inspect the unit for any shipping damage. If damaged, do not operate and contact customer support.

4.2 Placement

  • Place the dehumidifier on a firm, level surface in a location where the ambient temperature will not fall below 41°F (5°C) or exceed 95°F (35°C).
  • Ensure there is at least 8 inches (20 cm) of space around the unit for proper air circulation. Do not place it against a wall or furniture that could obstruct airflow.
  • For optimal performance, place the unit in the center of the room or area requiring dehumidification. The integrated wheels allow for easy movement.
  • Avoid placing the unit near heat sources or in direct sunlight.

4.3 Power Connection

  • Plug the power cord into a grounded 120V AC, 60Hz electrical outlet.

4.4 Continuous Drainage Setup (Optional)

For continuous operation without manually emptying the water tank, you can attach a drain hose (not included).

  • Locate the continuous drain plug at the back of the unit.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Control Panel Overview

  • Power Button: Turns the unit on or off.

5.2 Basic Operation

  1. Power On: Press the Power button to turn on the dehumidifier. The display will show the current room humidity.
  2. Set Desired Humidity: Use the Left and Right Arrow buttons to set your desired humidity level (e.g., 40% - 60% relative humidity is generally recommended). The unit will operate until the set humidity is reached, then cycle on and off to maintain it.
  3. Select Mode:
    • Press Auto for automatic humidity control.
    • Press Cont. for continuous dehumidification.
    • Press Turbo for maximum fan speed.
  4. Timer Function: Press the Timer button to set an auto-on or auto-off time (from 1 to 24 hours). Use the Left and Right Arrow buttons to adjust the hours.
  5. Power Off: Press the Power button again to turn off the unit.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your dehumidifier.

6.1 Emptying the Water Tank

When the water tank is full, the unit will automatically shut off, and the Full indicator will flash. The tank has a capacity of approximately 3 liters.

  1. Gently pull out the water tank from the front of the unit using its handle.
  2. Carefully carry the tank to a sink or drain.
  3. Empty the collected water.
  4. Slide the empty water tank back into the dehumidifier until it clicks into place. The unit will resume operation.

6.2 Cleaning the Air Filter

The Filter indicator will flash after approximately 250 hours of operation, signaling that the filter needs cleaning.

  1. Turn off and unplug the dehumidifier.
  2. Locate the air filter cover on the back of the unit.
  3. Gently pull out the filter.
  4. Clean the filter with a vacuum cleaner or wash it with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
  5. Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinstalling. Do not expose to direct sunlight or high heat.
  6. Reinsert the dry filter into the unit and close the cover.
  7. Plug in the unit and press the Filter button for 3 seconds to reset the filter timer.

6.3 Cleaning the Exterior

  • Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or flammable sprays.

6.4 Storage
