3. Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your Yaheetech Umbrella Base Stand:

3.1 Attaching the Wheels

1. Locate the two wheels and the corresponding screws/bolts.
2. Align each wheel with the designated attachment points on the side of the base.
3. Insert the screws through the wheel and into the base.
4. Use the provided L-bar tool to tighten the screws securely. Ensure the wheels are firmly attached but can rotate freely.

The wheels are lined with silicone to protect your patio surface during movement.

3.2 Assembling the Umbrella Pole Holder

5. Place the umbrella pole holder into the center of the base unit, aligning the holes at its base with the pre-drilled holes in the base unit.
6. Insert the remaining assembly screws/bolts through the holes and secure them with the provided wrench. Tighten all screws firmly to ensure maximum stability.

3.3 Filling the Base for Stability

This umbrella base is designed to be filled to provide necessary weight and stability. It can hold up to 150 lbs of material.

• Recommended Fill Materials: Sand, gravel, small stones, or soil.
• Planter Feature: You can also use the base as a planter by filling it with soil and planting flowers or other greenery. The integrated drainage holes will prevent water accumulation.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Inserting the Umbrella Pole

1. Insert your patio umbrella pole into the holder.
2. If your umbrella pole is smaller than the holder's opening, use the included pole cap/adapter to ensure a snug fit. This base is compatible with umbrella poles of 3.8cm (1.5 inches) and 4.8cm (1.9 inches) diameter.
3. Tighten the two adjustment knobs on the side of the pole holder to secure the umbrella pole firmly in place. These knobs allow for dual-screw fixation, enhancing stability and helping to straighten the umbrella.

4.2 Moving the Umbrella Base

The integrated wheels allow for easy movement of the base. To move the stand:

1. Ensure the umbrella is closed and secured, or removed from the base, before attempting to move.
2. Grasp the umbrella pole holder and gently tilt the base in the direction of the wheels until the wheels make contact with the ground.
3. Roll the base to your desired location.
4. Carefully lower the base back onto all four corners for stable positioning.

5. Maintenance

Proper maintenance will extend the life of your umbrella base:

• Cleaning: Wipe down the base regularly with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals that may damage the finish.
• All-weather Coating: The base is treated with a water and scratch-resistant powder coating designed to withstand various weather conditions, including strong sunlight and humid weather.
