Setup
1. Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the scale.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert the two (2) AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
2. Initial Placement
Place the scale on a hard, flat, and stable surface to ensure accurate readings. Avoid placing it on soft or uneven surfaces.
Operating Instructions
1. Power On/Off
- To turn on: Press the ON/OFF button. The display will show "HELLO" and then "0.0g".
- To turn off: Press and hold the ON/OFF button for a few seconds until the display turns off. The scale also features an auto-off function after a period of inactivity to conserve battery life.
2. Unit Conversion
The scale supports multiple units of measurement. To change the unit:
- Press the UNIT (M) button to cycle through available units: grams (g), ounces (oz), pounds (lb), troy ounces (ozt), pennyweights (dwt), carats (ct), grains (gn), and milliliters (ml).
- The selected unit will be displayed on the LCD screen.

3. Tare Function
The Tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a container, so you only measure the weight of its contents.
- Place an empty container on the scale platform. The display will show the container's weight.
- Press the TARE (T) button. The display will reset to "0.0g".
- Add the items you wish to weigh into the container. The display will now show only the net weight of the items.

4. PCS Function (Piece Counting)
The PCS function allows you to count small, uniform items.
- Turn on the scale and ensure it is in weighing mode (e.g., grams).
- Place a sample quantity of items (e.g., 25, 50, 75, or 100 pieces) on the platform.
- Press and hold the PCS button until "PCS" appears on the display.
- Press the UNIT (M) button to select the sample quantity (e.g., "25").
- Press the PCS button again to confirm. The display will show the number of pieces.
- You can now add more items, and the scale will count them based on the sample.
- To exit PCS mode, press the UNIT (M) button.
