4. Setup

4.1 Initial Setup

  1. Unpack the dehumidifier and remove all packaging materials.
  2. Place the unit on a firm, level surface in the desired location. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for proper airflow (at least 8 inches / 20 cm).
  3. Ensure the water tank is correctly inserted into the unit.
  4. Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.

4.2 Continuous Drainage Setup (Optional)

For continuous operation without needing to empty the water tank, you can use the included drainage hose.

  1. Locate the drainage port at the back or side of the unit.
  2. Connect one end of the 4.92-foot drainage hose to the drainage port. Ensure a secure connection to prevent leaks.
  3. Direct the other end of the hose to a suitable drain, such as a floor drain, large bucket, or sink. Ensure the hose is sloped downwards to allow gravity drainage.
  4. Verify that the hose is not kinked or blocked, which could impede water flow.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Operation

  1. After plugging in the unit, press the power button on the control panel to turn the dehumidifier ON. The working indicator light will illuminate.
  2. The unit will begin to dehumidify the air.
  3. To turn the unit OFF, press the power button again.

6.1 Emptying and Cleaning the Water Tank

  1. When the "Water Full" indicator light illuminates, gently pull out the water tank from the unit.
  2. Carefully pour out the collected water.
  3. Rinse the water tank with clean water. For thorough cleaning, use a mild detergent and a soft cloth to remove any residue or buildup. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap.
  4. Dry the tank completely before reinserting it into the dehumidifier.
