4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove the printer and all accessories from the packaging. Retain the packaging for future storage or transport.

4.2 Loading Paper

The printer uses 58mm thermal paper rolls. Follow these steps to load the paper:

  1. Open the printer cover by gently pulling the cover release lever.
  2. Insert the thermal paper roll into the compartment with the paper feeding from the bottom and extending upwards. Ensure the paper is aligned correctly.
  3. Pull a small length of paper out past the cutter.
  4. Close the printer cover firmly until it clicks into place.

4.3 Connecting the Printer

Connect the printer to your computer using the provided USB data cable. Plug one end into the printer's USB interface and the other end into an available USB port on your computer. Connect the power cable to the printer's power port and then to a power outlet.

5.3 Using the FEED Button

Press the FEED button on the front panel to manually advance the paper. This is useful for checking paper alignment or advancing a blank section of paper.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Print Head
