3. Setup Instructions

  1. Assemble the Unit: Place the LED grow light panel onto the adjustable pole, and insert the pole into the main water reservoir unit. Ensure all connections are secure.
  2. Add Water: Fill the water reservoir with approximately 3 liters of clean water. Use the water level indicator to ensure you do not overfill.
  3. Add Nutrients: Add 15ml of Nutrient A and 15ml of Nutrient B to the water reservoir. Stir gently to mix.
  4. Prepare Seed Pods: Place a grow sponge into each planting basket. Insert 2-3 seeds into the center of each grow sponge.
  5. Place Pods: Insert the prepared planting baskets into the designated holes on the main unit. Cover each basket with a plastic dome to create a humid environment for germination.
  6. Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into the unit and then into a power outlet.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Control Panel Functions

The control panel on the LED light unit features touch-sensitive buttons for various functions:

  • Power: Touch to turn the system on/off.
  • Veg Mode: Activates the light spectrum optimized for vegetative growth (red, far-red, and white light).
  • Flowers & Fruits Mode: Activates the light spectrum optimized for flowering and fruiting (red, blue, far-red, and white light).
  • Pump: Controls the water circulation pump. Press to cycle between 30 minutes on / 30 minutes off.

4.2 Light Cycle

The system operates on an automatic 16-hour on / 8-hour off light cycle. Once powered on, the light will remain on for 16 hours and then turn off for 8 hours, repeating this cycle daily. The start time of the cycle is determined by when the unit is first powered on.

4.3 Adjustable Lamp Post

The LED grow light panel is height-adjustable, extending up to 19.4 inches. Adjust the lamp post as your plants grow to maintain an optimal distance between the light and the plant canopy, preventing burning and ensuring adequate light exposure.

4.4 Water Circulation System

The system features an automatic water circulation pump that operates in a 30-minute on / 30-minute off cycle. This system increases oxygen in the water, promoting healthier root development and faster plant growth. The pump operates with low noise.

5. Planting Guide

5.1 Germination

After placing seeds in the grow sponges and covering them with plastic domes, ensure the system is powered on and the appropriate light mode is selected. Maintain the plastic domes until seedlings emerge and are tall enough to touch the dome. Remove domes once seedlings are established to allow for air circulation.

5.2 Transplanting

When plants outgrow the system or if you wish to move them outdoors, they can be transplanted. The grow sponges facilitate easy transfer to soil-potted plants or outdoor gardens. Ensure the roots are handled carefully during transplanting.

6. Maintenance

  • Water Level: Regularly check the water level indicator. Refill the reservoir with clean water as needed.
  • Nutrient Solution Change: It is recommended to change the entire nutrient solution every two weeks. Drain the old solution, clean the reservoir, and refill with fresh water and nutrients.
  • Cleaning: Periodically clean the water reservoir and pump to prevent algae growth and ensure optimal performance. Use a soft brush or cloth and mild soap, rinsing thoroughly.
  • Pruning: Prune your plants as they grow to encourage bushier growth and prevent them from interfering with the LED lights.
  • Root Management: Monitor root growth. If roots become excessively long and tangled, they may need to be trimmed to prevent clogging the pump or restricting water flow.

7. Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Plants not growing or slow growthInsufficient light, incorrect nutrient levels, old seeds, improper temperature.Adjust LED light height, ensure correct nutrient dosage, use fresh seeds, maintain suitable room temperature.
Algae growth in reservoirExcess light exposure to water, high water temperature, infrequent water changes.Ensure all planting holes are covered, change nutrient solution regularly, clean reservoir.
Water pump not circulatingClogged pump, low water level, pump malfunction.Check water level, clean pump and filter, ensure no roots are blocking the pump. If problem persists, contact support.
Water level indicator stuckUnit not on a level surface, indicator float obstructed.Place the unit on a perfectly flat surface. Gently remove and reinsert the indicator to free the float.
System appears flimsyNormal product design, lack of additional support.Ensure all components are securely assembled. Utilize the included supporting rods for taller plants to add stability.
