Setup and Assembly
The Greta lamp offers five distinct configurations. Follow the instructions below for your desired setup.
1. Table Lamp Configuration
- Attach the Greta Lampshade to the Lamp Base.
- Ensure the connection is secure.

2. Floor Lamp Configuration
- Connect one Standard Pole to the Lamp Base.
- Connect the second Standard Pole to the first Standard Pole using the Pole Connector.
- Attach the Greta Lampshade to the top of the assembled poles.
- Ensure all connections are secure.

3. Sconce Light Configuration
- Attach the Greta Lampshade to the Sconce Light Structure.
- Mount the Sconce Light Structure to a wall using appropriate hardware (not included).
- Ensure the structure is securely fastened to the wall.

4. Short Path Light Configuration
- Attach the Short Pole to the Path Light Spike.
- Connect the Greta Lampshade to the top of the Short Pole.
- Insert the Path Light Spike firmly into the ground.

5. Tall Path Light Configuration
- Attach one Standard Pole to the Path Light Spike.
- Connect the Greta Lampshade to the top of the Standard Pole.
- Insert the Path Light Spike firmly into the ground.

Operating Instructions
Charging the Lamp
The Greta lamp can be charged using two methods:
- Solar Charging: Place the lamp in direct sunlight. The integrated solar panel on the lampshade will automatically charge the internal batteries. Charging time is typically 4 to 8 hours depending on sunlight intensity.
- Micro-USB Charging: For faster charging or during periods of low sunlight, connect the provided Micro-USB cable to the charging port located on the lamp's base. Connect the other end to a standard USB power adapter (not included). Charging time is approximately 4 to 8 hours.
A full charge provides up to 30 hours of illumination.
Powering On/Off and Modes
The lamp features an on/off switch and an auto mode with a twilight sensor.
- On/Off Switch: Locate the power button, typically on the lamp's base or solar panel unit. Press to manually turn the light on or off.
- Auto Mode (Twilight Sensor): When in auto mode, the lamp will automatically turn on at dusk and turn off at dawn, conserving battery life. Ensure the solar panel is clean and unobstructed for optimal sensor performance.
Maintenance
The Newgarden Greta lamp is designed for durability and is IP65 waterproof, making it resistant to various weather conditions. To ensure optimal performance and longevity:
- Cleaning: Periodically wipe the solar panel and lampshade with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, or debris. A clean solar panel ensures efficient charging.
- Placement: For solar charging, place the lamp in an area that receives direct sunlight for most of the day. Avoid shaded areas.
