1. Introduction
This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation, setup, and maintenance of your MXBAOHENG Pneumatic Paint Mixer. This air-powered agitator is designed for mixing various liquids in 20L containers, including paints, water-based glues, dyes, resins, and liquid medicines. Its robust construction and pneumatic motor ensure reliable performance in diverse industrial environments.

2. Safety Information
Read and understand all safety instructions before operating the mixer. Failure to follow these instructions may result in injury or equipment damage.
- Explosion-Proof Design: The pneumatic motor is designed to be explosion-proof, making it suitable for use in environments where flammable materials may be present.
- Closed Design: The mixer's closed design allows for safe operation in damp, dusty, and other harsh industrial environments.
- Load Safety: The mixer features automatic deceleration or stopping when overloaded. It will automatically recover when the load decreases. Prolonged overload will cause the unit to stop without sustaining damage.
- Air Compressor Requirements: Always use an air compressor that meets the specified power and pressure requirements to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Personal Protective Equipment: Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection during operation.
- Secure Placement: Ensure the mixer is placed on a stable, level surface and securely fixed before operation to prevent tipping.
3. Product Overview and Components
Familiarize yourself with the main components of your pneumatic paint mixer.

Figure 3.1: Overall view of the MXBAOHENG Pneumatic Paint Mixer, illustrating its main components and general dimensions. The unit has a base of approximately 38cm x 38cm (14.96 inches x 14.96 inches) and an adjustable height range of 43-86cm (16.93-33.86 inches).

Figure 3.2: Detailed view of the height adjustment mechanism, including the fixed knob, and the stirring rod connected to the stirring impeller. The lifting height is approximately 43cm.

Figure 3.3: Close-up of the pneumatic motor assembly, highlighting the silencer for noise reduction, the intake connector for air supply, and the inlet valve switch used to adjust motor speed.

Figure 3.4: The stainless steel big impeller, suitable for 5-gallon pneumatic mixers, with a diameter of 15cm (5.9 inches) and an inner hole diameter of 12mm.
4. Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect for any shipping damage.
- Assembly: Ensure the stirring rod and impeller are securely attached. The impeller has an inner hole diameter of 12mm to fit the stirring rod.
- Placement: Position the mixer on a stable, level surface. Use the fixed nut and lifting frame to ensure good stability.
- Air Compressor Connection: Connect the mixer to an air compressor using the intake connector. The air compressor should have a power output above 3kW and a working pressure of 4-6 standard atmospheric pressure (58.78 PSI - 88.18 PSI).
- Container Placement: Place the 20L container (round or square barrel) to be mixed directly under the impeller.
5. Operating Instructions
- Adjusting Height: Use the fixed knob on the lifting frame to adjust the height of the stirring impeller. Ensure the impeller is submerged in the liquid to the desired depth without touching the bottom or sides of the container. The maximum lifting height is approximately 43cm.
- Starting the Mixer: Slowly open the inlet valve switch to allow air to flow to the pneumatic motor.
- Adjusting Speed: The motor speed (50-2600 RPM) is adjusted by the air regulating valve (inlet valve switch). A higher air pressure results in a faster speed.
- Monitoring Operation: Observe the mixing process. The mixer can operate continuously for 24 hours within a working temperature range of 10-65 ℃.
- Load Management: The mixer is designed to handle load changes. If the load increases, the mixer may decelerate or stop automatically. It will resume normal operation once the load decreases. If overloaded for an extended period, the mixer will stop to prevent damage.
- Stopping the Mixer: Close the inlet valve switch to stop the air supply and halt the mixing process.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Regularly clean the stirring rod and impeller. Both components are removable for easier cleaning and are corrosion-resistant, acid-resistant, and alkali-resistant.
- Air Supply: Ensure the air supply is clean and dry to prevent damage to the pneumatic motor.
- Lubrication: Periodically check and lubricate moving parts as recommended for pneumatic tools to ensure smooth operation and longevity.
- Inspection: Inspect all connections, hoses, and structural components regularly for wear, damage, or loose fittings. Replace any damaged parts immediately.
- Self-Cooling: The pneumatic motor has a self-cooling effect, which helps maintain optimal operating temperature during continuous use.
7. Troubleshooting
- Mixer Stops During Operation: This is likely due to an overload condition. The mixer is designed to stop without damage when overloaded for a prolonged period. Reduce the load or adjust the mixing parameters.
- Insufficient Mixing Speed: Check the air pressure from the compressor. Ensure it meets the required 4-6 standard atmospheric pressure. Verify the inlet valve switch is fully open.
- Excessive Noise: The mixer is equipped with a silencer to minimize sound. If noise is excessive, check the silencer for obstructions or damage. The noise level is also related to the opening degree of the air regulating valve.
- Vibration: Ensure the mixer is securely fixed to a stable surface. Check if the stirring rod or impeller is bent or damaged, or if the container is unbalanced.
