1. Product Overview
The Metabo HPT 36V MultiVolt Cordless Forming Nailer (NR3675DD) is a battery-powered tool designed for driving duplex/double-headed fasteners in concrete forming and temporary wood structures. This tool offers the convenience of cordless operation combined with the performance characteristics of a pneumatic nailer, thanks to its Air Spring Drive System.
Key features include:
- Air Spring Drive System: Provides a consistent and powerful driving force similar to pneumatic tools.
- Selective Actuation: Allows users to switch between sequential and contact nailing modes.
- Dry-Fire Lockout: Prevents the tool from firing when the magazine is empty, protecting both the tool and the workpiece.
- Brushless Motor: Enhances runtime, increases power, and extends tool durability with minimal maintenance.
- Tool-less Depth Adjustment: Enables quick and easy adjustment of nail driving depth without additional tools.
- Duplex/Double Headed Fasteners: Specifically designed for 16D, 8D, and 6D duplex nails, facilitating easy removal of temporary structures.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Adjusting Depth of Drive
The NR3675DD features tool-less depth adjustment:
- Locate the depth adjustment dial or lever near the nose of the tool.
- Rotate the dial or move the lever to increase or decrease the driving depth. Test on a scrap piece of material to achieve the desired depth.

4.2 Selecting Actuation Mode
The selective actuation switch allows you to choose between two firing modes:
- Sequential Firing: For precise fastener placement. The trigger must be pulled for each fastener after the nose is pressed against the workpiece.
- Contact Firing: For rapid fastening. Fasteners are driven when the nose is pressed against the workpiece while the trigger is held down.
4.3 Driving Fasteners
- Ensure the battery is installed and fasteners are loaded.
- Select the desired actuation mode.
- Place the nose of the tool firmly against the workpiece where the fastener is to be driven.
- Engage the trigger according to the selected actuation mode.
- The tool can drive up to 900 nails per charge with the included 2.5Ah MultiVolt battery.
