2. Important Safety Instructions

5. Setup

Follow these steps for initial setup:

1. Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials and place the humidifier on a stable, flat surface.
2. Remove Tank: Lift the water tank from the humidifier base.
3. Fill Tank: Invert the water tank and unscrew the water tank cap. Fill the tank with clean, cool tap water. The large 3.74-inch opening facilitates easy filling. Do not fill past the maximum water level indicator.
4. Secure Cap: Screw the water tank cap back on tightly.
5. Place Tank: Place the filled water tank back onto the humidifier base, ensuring it is seated correctly.
6. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet. The indicator light may illuminate.

6. Operating Instructions

To operate your raydrop humidifier:

1. Power On/Mist Adjustment: Rotate the dial knob clockwise from the 'OFF' position. The indicator light will turn on, and mist will begin to emit. Continue rotating the knob clockwise to increase the mist output. Rotate counter-clockwise to decrease mist output.
2. Night Light: The humidifier features an optional colorful night light. The operation of the night light is typically integrated with the power knob or a separate button (refer to specific model features if applicable). The light cycles through colors and cannot be locked to a single color.
3. Automatic Shut-Off: The humidifier is equipped with an automatic shut-off feature. When the water level in the tank is too low or runs out, the unit will automatically turn off, and the indicator light will turn red. This prevents damage to the unit and ensures safety.
4. Power Off: Rotate the dial knob counter-clockwise until it clicks into the 'OFF' position. Unplug the unit when not in use.

7. Maintenance

• Rinse the water tank and base with fresh water.
• Refill the tank with clean, cool water before each use.

Weekly Cleaning:

• Unplug: Always unplug the humidifier before cleaning.
• Empty Water: Remove the water tank and empty all water from both the tank and the base.
• Clean Tank: Use a soft brush or cloth to clean the inside of the water tank. The large opening makes this process easier. Rinse thoroughly.
• Clean Base: Gently wipe the inside of the base, especially the ultrasonic transducer (the small disc), with a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scrub the transducer.
• Descaling (if needed): If mineral deposits (white dust) accumulate, mix a solution of equal parts white vinegar and water. Pour the solution into the base and let it sit for 20-30 minutes. Gently scrub with a soft brush, then rinse thoroughly with clean water. Do not use vinegar in the water tank itself, only for descaling the base if necessary.
