Watch Components

Familiarize yourself with the main buttons and display areas of your SKMEI 1243 watch:

• MODE Button: Used to cycle through different functions (Time, Alarm, Stopwatch, Dual Time).
• LIGHT Button: Activates the backlight for improved visibility in low-light conditions.
• SET Button: Used to enter and confirm settings adjustments.
• ADJ Button: Used to adjust values during setting modes.

Setup

Initial Time and Date Setting

1. In normal time display mode, press the MODE button repeatedly until the seconds begin to flash. This indicates you are in setting mode.
2. Press the ADJ button to cycle through the setting options: Seconds → Hour → Minute → Year → Month → Day.
3. While a value is flashing, use the SET button to increase the value. Hold the SET button to rapidly advance the value.
4. Once all settings are adjusted, press the MODE button to exit the setting mode and return to normal time display.

12/24 Hour Format

In normal time display mode, press the SET button to toggle between 12-hour and 24-hour formats. The 'PM' indicator will appear for 12-hour format afternoon times.

Operating Functions

Alarm Function

1. From normal time display, press the MODE button once to enter Alarm Mode.
2. Press the ADJ button to select the hour or minute to set. The selected value will flash.
3. Use the SET button to adjust the flashing hour or minute.
4. Press the MODE button to exit Alarm Setting Mode.
5. To turn the alarm ON/OFF, in Alarm Mode, press the SET button. An alarm icon will appear/disappear on the display.

Stopwatch Function

1. From normal time display, press the MODE button twice to enter Stopwatch Mode.
2. Press the SET button to start the stopwatch.
3. Press the SET button again to pause the stopwatch.
4. Press the ADJ button to reset the stopwatch to zero.
5. Press the MODE button to return to normal time display.

Backlight

Press the LIGHT button at any time to illuminate the display for a few seconds.

Multiple Time Zone (Dual Time)

1. From normal time display, press the MODE button three times to enter Dual Time Mode.
2. Press the ADJ button to select the hour or minute to set for the second time zone. The selected value will flash.
3. Use the SET button to adjust the flashing hour or minute.
4. Press the MODE button to exit Dual Time Setting Mode.
5. To view the second time zone, simply navigate to Dual Time Mode using the MODE button.

Water Resistance (50M)

The SKMEI 1243 watch is rated for 50 meters (5 ATM) water resistance. This means it is suitable for showering, swimming in shallow water, and general water exposure. It is not recommended for diving, snorkeling, or high-pressure water activities. Do not operate buttons while the watch is wet or submerged.

Maintenance

Cleaning

To clean your watch, wipe it gently with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the watch's finish and seals.

Battery Replacement
