Setup
Connecting the Hub
- Connect the provided USB-C to USB-B 3.0 cable to the USB 3.0 input port on the hub and the USB-C port on your computer.
- For stable performance and to power multiple devices, connect the universal 5V/2A power adapter to the DC 5V port on the hub and then to a power outlet.
- Ensure all connections are secure.

Operating Instructions
The RSHTECH 7-Port Powered USB C Hub is plug-and-play, requiring no additional drivers.
Individual Port Control
Each USB 3.0 port on the hub is equipped with an individual on/off switch and an LED indicator.
- To activate a port, press the corresponding button. The LED indicator will illuminate, showing the port is active.
- To deactivate a port, press the button again. The LED indicator will turn off.
- This feature allows you to manage power consumption and connect/disconnect devices without physically removing them.

Data Transfer
Connect your USB 3.0 compatible devices (e.g., external hard drives, flash drives) to the blue USB 3.0 ports for high-speed data transfer up to 5Gbps. The hub is backward compatible with USB 2.0 devices.

OTG Functionality
The USB C hub supports OTG (On-The-Go) function, allowing you to connect peripherals directly to compatible smartphones or tablets for expanded storage and backup.
Maintenance
- Keep the hub away from moisture and extreme temperatures.
- Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals.

Troubleshooting
Common Issues and Solutions
- Device not recognized: Ensure the hub is properly connected to your computer and the power adapter (if used) is plugged in. Try connecting the device directly to your computer to rule out device-specific issues.
- Slow data transfer: Verify that both the connected device and the hub are using USB 3.0 ports. Ensure the power adapter is connected for optimal performance, especially with power-hungry devices.
- LED indicator not lighting up: Check if the individual on/off switch for that port is pressed. If the power adapter is used, ensure it's properly connected.
- Intermittent connection: Ensure all cables are securely connected. Avoid placing the hub near sources of electromagnetic interference.
